Objective : This study is based on the cases and imaging data of patients with pulmonary nodules in the Third Affiliated Clinical Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and through the study of the correlation between the "state" of pulmonary nodules and imaging characteristics,in order to provide an objective reference and research ideas for the treatment of pulmonary nodules in traditional Chinese medicine. Methods:Collect the cases and imaging data of patients with small pulmonary nodules from December 2021 to June 2022 in the Medical Imaging Center, including general information of patients, distribution of imaging characteristics, concomitant diseases,"status",etc.,and establish a database; All kinds of data were logically checked by using SPSS 21.0 statistical software for chi square test,T test and variance test; The Visual Studio Code editor is used for Python programming, and the association rules obtained from the Apriori algorithm are visualized through Adobe Illustrator 2021 software drawing.Results:1.In 298 cases of pulmonary nodules in this study,47.85% were male and 52.15% were female. There was no gender difference in the incidence of pulmonary nodules(P>0.05);The average age was 53.61 ± 13.88 years old, with the largest number of people aged50-59(28.52%);70% of the total population had no smoking history, and 30% of the total population had smoking history; The average age of male patients was 53.61 ± 13.88,while that of female patients was 55.51±13.90(t=-1.116,P=0.266>0.05),indicating that there was no difference between male and female patients.2.Distribution of imaging features: the imaging features are counted according to the focus form, focus nature, focus shape, focus location, focus diameter, and focus edge. The highest proportions of each classification were isolation(56.04%),ground glass,solidity(46.98%),roundness(46.31%),middle and lower leaves(53.02%),diameter of 4~6mm(55.37%),and smooth edges(88.93%).3.Complicated diseases: The most common diseases were upper respiratory tract infection(35.23%),followed by pneumonia(28.52%),combined infection(13.42%),chronic bronchitis(11.74%),chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)(8.05%),and pleural effusion(0.67%).The most common nodules in other parts were thyroid nodules(10.74%),followed by breast nodules(5.03%)and thyroid nodules with breast nodules(3.36%).4.Distribution of "state" of small pulmonary nodules: the number of cases in the virtual state(27%)accounts for the largest number, followed by dry state(22%),depressed state(17%),stagnant state 4(15%),cold state(11%),and stagnant state(8%)according to the proportion.5.The correlation between "state" of pulmonary nodules and age: the distribution of each state is as follows: the average age in virtual state is 67.02±10.64;The average age of dry state was 52.14±12.60;The mean age of depression was 54.42±12.74;The average age of cold state was 58.63±8.38;The mean age of stasis state was 53.09±9.36;According to the analysis of variance,F=1048.66,P<0.001,which is statistically significant, indicating that there is a significant difference in the age distribution of each "state".The virtual state is dominated by the elderly, which is significantly different from other states.6.Correlation between "state" of pulmonary nodules and gender: chi square test for gender and "state" showed that there was a statistically significant difference between stasis state, depression state, stagnant state and gender(P<0.05).In stasis state, more men than women; In the stagnant state, males are more than females, and the depressed state is mainly concentrated in females.7.Correlation between "state" and imaging features: The analysis of Apriori algorithm in this study shows that virtual state is positively correlated with smooth edges, middle and lower leaves, quasi circular, real, and 4 ~ 6mm in diameter; The blood stasis state was positively correlated with the diameter of 7~10mm,middle and lower lobe, ground glass, irregular shape and single lesion;Depression state was positively correlated with smooth margin, single, round, middle and lower lobe, diameter of 4 ~ 6mm;Cold state was positively correlated with smooth margin, roundness, upper lobe, multiple and solidity, and negatively correlated with diameter of 4 ~ 6mm;The backwater state was positively correlated with smooth margin, ground glass, round shape,4~6mm in diameter and upper lobe, and negatively correlated with single lobe;Dry state was positively correlated with multiple, upper lobe, round like,4 ~ 6mm in diameter and ground glass, and negatively correlated with smooth edge. Conclusion:The age distribution of patients with small pulmonary nodules is mostly concentrated in the middle and old stages, mainly by virtual states. Its imaging features are more common in isolated, ground glass, solid, round and so on.Most common complicated diseases are upper respiratory tract infection and thyroid nodules.According to the judgment criteria of Mayo lung cancer prediction model,it can be inferred that patients with blood stasis and other "state" patients have a high possibility of malignant changes in the future.Even if no obvious malignant factors,it may change with the extension of the course of disease. Therefore, clinical attention should be paid to supporting healthy qi and improve the body’s ability to prevent disease and fight disease.
