Research On Distribution Characteristics And Differences Of TCM Syndrome Elements In Functional Constipation With Different Anxiety States

ObjectivesThis study observes and analyzes the distribution of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome elements in functional constipation with different anxiety states from scratch,and clarifies the location and nature’s distribution characteristics,in order to provide dialectical basis and reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.MethodsThis study collected 100 patients who met the diagnostic and relevant inclusion criteria for functional constipation.According to the scores of the Hamilton Anxiety Scale,they are divided into three groups: non anxiety group,possibly anxiety group,and anxiety group.Using the method of syndrome elements differentiation research,the basic information and four examinations information of patients are entered into the syndrome elements differentiation software to obtain the location and nature’s distribution of functional constipation syndrome elements in different anxiety states.Use data statistical research methods to analyze the differences in syndrome elements between different groups.Results1.In this study,there was no statistical difference(P>0.05)in gender and age distribution among the non-anxious state group,possibly anxiety group and anxious state group.2.The distribution of the characters of syndrome elements in each group: In the non-anxiety state group,the primary syndrome elements of disease location were the large intestine,spleen,and stomach,also involves the kidneys,liver,gallbladder,and small intestine.While the primary syndrome elements of disease nature were qi stagnation,yin deficiency,dampness,qi deficiency,yang deficiency,and blood deficiency,also involves phlegm,heat,blood stasis,and fluid deficiency.In the possibly anxiety group,the primary syndrome elements of disease location were the large intestine,spleen,stomach,liver,and gallbladder,also involves the kidneys,mind,small intestine,and uterus.While the primary syndrome elements of disease nature were qi stagnation,yin deficiency,dampness,qi deficiency,yang deficiency,blood deficiency,and heat,also involves phlegm,blood stasis,fluid deficiency,yang hyperactivity,and food accumulation.In the anxious state group,the primary syndrome elements of disease location were liver,large intestine,spleen,stomach,heart spirit,and gallbladder,also involves the small intestine,kidneys,and uterus.While the primary syndrome elements of disease nature were qi stagnation,yin deficiency,qi deficiency,blood deficiency,yang deficiency,dampness,and heat,also involves yang hyperactivity,blood stasis,phlegm,fluid deficiency,and food accumulation.3.Comparison of syndrome elements in each group:The ranked distribution between non-anxiety state group and possibly anxiety state group had statistical differences in characters of syndrome elements of liver,gallbladder,and heat(P<0.05).The ranked distribution between non-anxiety state group and anxiety state group had statistical differences in characters of syndrome elements of large intestine,stomach,liver,gallbladder,small intestine,qi stagnation,yin deficiency,blood deficiency,heat,blood stasis,and fluid deficiency(P<0.05).The ranked distribution between possibly anxiety state group and anxiety state group had statistical differences in characters of syndrome elements of large intestine,liver,gallbladder,heart spirit,qi stagnation,yin deficiency,blood stasis,and yang hyperactivity(P<0.05).Conclusions1.In a state of no anxiety,the primary location of functional constipation is the large intestine,followed by the spleen and stomach.With the aggravation of the patient’s anxiety state,the main disease location syndrome elements gradually shift from the large intestine to the liver.The degree of pathological changes in the large intestine,stomach,liver,gallbladder,and small intestine continues to deepen,and there may be new functional changes in the mind.Clinical treatment should pay attention to soothing the liver,promoting the gallbladder,and guiding qi stagnation.2.In a state of no anxiety,functional constipation is primarily characterized by qi stagnation,followed by dampness.The primary deficiency is yin deficiency,followed by qi deficiency.With the aggravation of the patient’s anxiety state,the main solid disease syndrome element is still qi stagnation,and the degree of pathological changes in syndrome element heat and blood stasis deepens.The main deficiency syndrome element is still yin deficiency,and the degree of pathological changes in syndrome element blood deficiency deepens,and the pathological state of yang hyperactivity can be added.Clinical treatment can mainly focus on promoting qi and nourishing yin,Supplemented by clearing heat,resolving dampness,and dispersing blood stasis.
