Clinical Observation Of Bailing Decoction In The Treatment Of Children With Purpura Nephritis(Dampness-Heat Injuring Collaterals)

Objective: Through observing the treatment of children with Purpura nephritis(dampness-heat injury syndrome)by Bailing Decoction and Hematuria Capsules,comparing the clinical symptoms and laboratory examination of children,explore the clinical value of Bailing Decoction and whether there will be adverse reactions,expand the treatment of the disease,to provide more effective treatment methods.Methods:In this clinical observation,60 children aged 5-14 with dampness-heat injury syndrome of purpura nephritis were selected,all of whom were treated in the pediatric outpatient department of Jilin Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Third Clinical Hospital Affiliated to Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2021 to November 2022.The included children were randomly divided into 2 groups according to the experimental requirements,and were treated with Bailing Decoction and Hematuria Capsules,respectively.The treatment cycle of the two groups was 4 weeks.After the treatment,the syndrome indicators and laboratory examination indicators were observed.After the treatment,the children in the outpatients group were followed up for 1 month,and the therapeutic effect was finally summarized.Results:1.60 children aged from 5 to 15 years were included in this study.Among them,there were 29 boys(48.33%)and 31 girls(51.67%).2.Before treatment,TCM syndrome score,urinary occult blood and serum Ig A in 2groups were comparable(P > 0.05).3.The total clinical effective rate of Bailing Decoction group was 93.1%,of which the recovery rate was 41.38%,and the total clinical effective rate of Hematuria Capsules group was 78.6%,of which the recovery rate was 25%.Compared with the two groups,the total clinical effective rate was statistically different(P < 0.05).It can be seen that the curative effect of Bailing Decoction on the syndrome of dampness and heat injury was better than that of Hematuria Capsules.4.In the comparison of the total clinical effective rate of TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment between the two groups,the improvement effect of taking Bailing Decoction was 100.0%,and that of taking Hematuria Capsules was 82.1%,among which Bailing Decoction was significantly effective in relieving hematuria,petechial plaque,joint pain,urination burning and other symptoms,and there was a statistically difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).It can be seen that Bailing Decoction is better than Hematuria Capsules in relieving hematuria,skin ecchymosis and other syndromes.5.In the comparison of urinary occult blood and Ig A before and after treatment,there were significant differences between the two groups before and after treatment(P < 0.01),indicating that Bailing Decoction and Hematuria Capsules can effectively reduce urinary occult blood and Ig A deposition,and after treatment is better than before treatment.There were statistically differences in urinary occult blood between the two groups after treatment(P< 0.05),indicating that Bailing Decoction was superior to Hematuria Capsules in reducing urinary occult blood in purpura nephritis.6.In the comparison of electrocardiogram,liver function,kidney function and adverse reactions before and after treatment,no abnormalities were found,indicating that Bailing Decoction has safety,and no obvious side effects.Conclusion:1.Bailing Decoction is effective in the treatment of children with purpura nephritis caused by dampness and heat.It has the effect of reducing urinary occult blood,improving children’s sensitive physique and improving body immunity.2.Bailing Decoction can significantly relieve the TCM clinical syndromes of children with Purpura nephritis damaged by dampness-heat,with high safety and no obvious side effects.
