| Objective: By observing the postoperative recovery and living conditions of patients who used Disposable Balloon Catheter For Ileostomy, and comparing the patients who used traditional preventive fistulation, this paper discusses the value of Disposable Balloon Catheter For Ileostomy in colorectal cancer surgery, especially the benefits in anus-preserving surgery for low rectal cancer. Methods: A retrospective analysis was made of 72 patients who underwent radical resection of colorectal tumors in the Department of Cardiology,Yijishan Hospital,Wannan Medical College from April 2020 to November 2022.They were divided into two groups according to the use of preventive colostomy or Disposable Balloon Catheter For Ileostomy. In the first group,40 patients underwent traditional preventive colostomy(traditional colostomy group); In the second group, the end of the ileum was taken 10-15 cm and disposed into the Disposable Balloon Catheter For Ileostomy(Disposable Balloon Catheter For Ileostomy group),a total of 32 cases.By comparing the general medical records, postoperative complications, postoperative recovery ventilation time, quality of life after discharge, difficulty of daily nursing, consumption of materials, length of hospitalization, hospitalization costs and other data of the two groups of patients. Results:The general clinical data of the traditional colostomy group and the Disposable Balloon Catheter For Ileostomy group showed that the P value was greater than 0.05%,and the difference was not statistically significant. The incidence of stoma-related complications in the two groups was 5%(2/40)and 0%(0/32)respectively;The incidence of anastomotic leakage was 2.5%(1/40)and 0%(0/32)respectively;The incidence of intestinal obstruction was 7.5%(3/40)and 6.3%(3/32)respectively;The incidence of incision infection was 5%(2/40)and 3.1%(1/32)respectively,with no significant difference(P>0.05).The intraoperative stoma time of the two groups was(32.73±2.99)min and(21.35 ±3.15)min respectively; The postoperative ventilation time was(3.88±0.99)days and(3.34±0.94)days respectively; The hospital stay was(25.40±1.97)days and(15.94±2.53)days respectively; The hospitalization expenses were(6.67 ± 0.49)and(5.29 ± 0.66)million yuan respectively, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative related complications between the two groups, and the patients in the Disposable Balloon Catheter For Ileostomy group had different degrees of postoperative recovery time, hospital stay and overhead, and postoperative care convenience than the patients in the traditional colostomy group.Disposable Balloon Catheter For Ileostomy is indicated for patients with low rectal cancer for whom prophylactic colostomy is necessary, avoiding secondary surgery and reducing patient length of stay and costs. After surgery without the need for replacement of the stoma,it is easier to care for than traditional colostomy, can improve the social experience and quality of life of patients, postoperative care with tube is shorter,it is worth promoting the use. |
