PurposeTo observe the effect of acupoint selection and prescription acupuncture therapy on the motor function of limbs after stroke under the guidance of regulating Qi theory.Methods72 patients meeting the criteria were divided into routine acupuncture group and acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory.Routine acupuncture group: basic treatment plus routine acupoint selection acupuncture treatment;Acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory: basic treatment plus acupuncture treatment with acupoint and prescription selection under the guidance of regulating Qi theory,30 minutes each time, once a day,5 times a week(rest for 2 days),1 week as a course of treatment,a total of 2 courses of treatment. Before and after treatment, the modified Barbi index, simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function and TCM syndrome score were evaluated for the two groups, and the ability of daily life, the movement function of limbs and the improvement of TCM syndrome were compared between the two groups.Results1.Comparison of baseline data: There were no statistically significant differences in gender, age, course of disease and stroke type between the routine acupuncture group and the acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory(P>0.05),which were comparable.2.Comparison of all observation indexes before and after treatment:(1)Comparison results of MBI scores: Before treatment, there was no significant difference in MBI scores between the routine acupuncture group and the acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory(P>0.05).After treatment, the MBI score of patients in the routine acupuncture group and the acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory was increased compared with that before treatment, and there were differences before and after treatment within the group(P<0.05),among which the change was more significant in the acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory. After treatment, there was a difference in MBI score between the routine acupuncture group and acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory(P<0.05),indicating that the two acupoint selection methods were effective, and the effect of the acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory was more significant than that of the routine acupuncture group.(2)Comparison results of FMA scores: Before treatment, there was no significant difference in FMA scores between the routine acupuncture group and the acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory(P>0.05).After treatment,FMA scores of patients in the routine acupuncture group and the acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory were higher than before treatment, and there were differences before and after treatment within the group(P<0.05),among which the change was more significant in the acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory. After treatment, there was a difference in FMA scores between the routine acupuncture group and the acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory(P<0.05),indicating that the two acupoint selection methods were effective, and the curative effect of the acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory was more significant than the routine acupuncture group.(3)Comparison results of TCM syndrome scores: Before treatment, there was no statistical significance in TCM syndrome scores between the routine acupuncture group and the acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory(P>0.05);After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores of patients in the routine acupuncture group and the acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory were lower than before treatment, and there were differences before and after treatment within the group(P<0.05),among which the changes were more significant in the acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory. After treatment, there was a difference in TCM syndrome scores between the routine acupuncture group and the acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory(P<0.05),indicating that the two acupoint selection methods were effective, and the curative effect of the acupuncture group under the guidance of regulating Qi theory was more significant than that of the routine acupuncture group.Conclusion1.Acupuncture treatment under the guidance of regulating Qi theory can improve the daily life ability of patients with stroke hemiplegia.2.Acupuncture treatment under the guidance of regulating Qi theory can improve the limb motor function of patients with stroke hemiplegia.3.Acupuncture treatment under the guidance of regulating Qi theory can improve the TCM syndromes of patients with stroke hemiplegia.
