| Purpose: To observe the clinical effect of abdominal plus normal acupuncture therapy on hemiplegia due to cerebral apoplexy. To study the effect caused by abdominal acupuncture in this research.Methods: 50 cases ( Singaporean) were selected accordingly to the order. Among the 50 cases, randomly group into two as below; 25 cases of apoplectic hemiplegia were treated by abdominal plus normal acupuncture, 23 cases treated by normal acupuncture, 2 cases dropped off .After 1month treatment, the curative effect was compared by SIAS's point among the two groups.Result: After 1 month's treatment on an average, the marked effectiveness rate was 92.0 % in the abdominal plus normal acupuncture group, 59.5 % in the normal acupuncture group, there was a significant difference (P<0.05). The SIAS's point in the abdominal plus normal acupuncture group was higher than normal acupuncture group (P<0.05).Conclusion: Abdominal plus normal acupuncture had a better effect on apoplectic hemiplegia than normal acupuncture, and we found out the abdominal acupuncture provided a key effect in this treatment. |
