Clinical Observation Of Modified Shiwei Wendan Decoction In The Treatment Of Senile Hypertension Complicated With Weakness Due To Phlegm Turbidity Resistance

ObjectiveBy observing the improvement of TCM symptoms and signs,blood pressure and weakness of ’ Shiwei Wendan Decoction ’ in the treatment of senile hypertension with phlegm turbidity and middle resistance.Analyze its clinical efficacy,sum up experience,and provide more clinical data.MethodsIn strict accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria,72 patients who met the criteria were randomly divided into control group and treatment group.36 patients in the control group were treated with irbesartan tablets(150mg / day)routine treatment.36 patients in the treatment group were treated with Shiwei Wendan Decoction(200ml / time,3 times / day)on the basis of the control group.The course of treatment was 4 weeks.After the course of treatment,the clinical efficacy before and after treatment was compared and analyzed.Results1.In this study,a total of 72 cases were included.During the test period,5 cases were removed due to personal reasons,withdrawal of traditional Chinese medicine,and addition of other antihypertensive drugs(including 3 cases in the treatment group and 2 cases in the control group).Finally,67 cases were actually completed(including 33 cases in the treatment group and 34 cases in the control group).2.Comparison of general data : the course of hypertension,diabetes mellitus,coronary heart disease,hypertension grade,hypertension stratification,there was no significant difference in age,sex and BMI between the two groups(P > 0.05).3.Efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine : After treatment,the symptoms of the two groups were improved.The treatment group was better than the control group in improving dizziness,head weight,fatigue,chest fullness,palpitations,and poor appetite(P < 0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(87.9 % VS 67.6 %).4.Western medicine efficacy :(1)After treatment,the blood pressure of both groups improved,and the antihypertensive effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05).(2)After treatment,the scores of FRAIL frailty scale and Tilburg frailty index scale in the two groups decreased,and those in the treatment group were better than the control group(P < 0.05).(3)After treatment,the prealbumin index of the treatment group was improved,and there was a statistical difference(P < 0.05),but there was no statistical difference in the control group(P > 0.05).After treatment,the treatment group improved better than the control group(P<0.05).5.During the clinical trial,there was no difference in safety indicators between the two groups(P > 0.05).ConclusionThe use of Shiwei Wendandan Decoction combined with irbesartan in the treatment of elderly patients with hypertension and frailty of phlegm turbidity and middle resistance type is better than the simple use of western medicine to improve the TCM syndromes of patients,further control blood pressure,improve frailty symptoms,and improve prealbumin level during the observation period,so as to better improve clinical efficacy.
