Research On The Effectiveness Of Using Ginseng In Combination With The Quadruplex Method,Anti-plaque Formula,and Hp To Treat Functional Dyspepsia(Spleen Deficiency And Qi Stagnation Type)

Objective: In order to develop fresh concepts for the treatment of Hp-related functional dyspepsia(spleen deficiency and qi stagnation type),it is absolutely essential first to investigate the clinical efficacy of the combination of ginseng and gangrene formula with the quadruple method.Furthermore,it is crucial to evaluate the clinical significance of the combination of ginseng and gangrene formula with the quadruple method.Methods:A total of 72 outpatients and patients with FD(spleen deficiency and qi stagnation type)who met the inclusion criteria of Hp infection were admitted to the department of gastroenterology of the first affiliated hospital of Kunming University of science and technology from December 2020 to February 2023,and 36 patients in the control group and 36 patients in the treatment group were randomized and controlled.The patients were firstly treated with the quadruple therapy(esomeprazole + bismuth citrate +amoxicillin + tetracycline)to eradicate Hp for 2 weeks,and then given oral ginseng and anti-plaque formula for 2 weeks as the treatment group,while the control group was treated with oral domperidone tablets(morpholine)and compound digestive enzyme capsule for 2 weeks,and the treatment course was set for 4 weeks.chi-square test,Ttest,non-parametric test,Mann-Whitney U test,etc.were used for comprehensive statistical analysis of the experimental data.Results:1.The comparison of the two groups’ levels of safety before and after treatment shows that there were no adverse events,which points to a high level of safety.2.Investigation of evidence points: It was discovered that both groups’ patients’ evidence points dropped after therapy compared to before,and their clinical symptoms improved.After treatment,the evidence points for the treatment group were significantly lower than those for the control group(abdominal stuffiness,abdominal distension and discomfort,yellow face,belching,weariness and weakness)(P <0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.The treatment group was more effective than the control group,with total effective rates of 88.60% and 76.50%,respectively.The improvement in symptom scores for less food intake and loose stools did not significantly differ between the treatment and control groups,though(P>0.05).3.Analysis of the H.pylori eradication percentages: After treatment,the Hp-positive rate fell in both groups.The eradication rates for H.pylori were 91.4% in the treatment group and 88.2% in the control group(P>0.05),respectively.Conclusion:Clinically effective and safe,the combining of the conventional four broad approach with the Chinese herbal remedy ginseng anti-plaque formula improves patients’ quality of life in the treatment of Hp-positive patients with functional dyspepsia(spleen deficiency and qi stagnation type).
