Objective:To Investigate the relationship between the exhaled nitric oxide(Feno),eosinophils(EOS)in induced sputum and peripheral blood eosinophils(EOS)and the TCM syndromes of chronic persistent asthma. It will provide some objective basis for TCM dialectical treatment, improve the accuracy of disease diagnosis,so as to formulate individualized treatment plan for patients, and give full play to the unique advantages of Chinese medicine in dealing with asthma.Methods:Cross-sectional study was used to collect the patients with chronic persistent asthma in the outpatient department of respiratory department of Kunhua Hospital, collect the information of the four diagnostic methods of traditional Chinese medicine, tongue and pulse, collect the data of induced sputum cell classification, blood routine and Feno value, and use statistical methods for statistical analysis. The total of chronic persistent asthma Feno value, peripheral blood EOS count, induced sputum EOS percentage and TCM syndrome correlation.Results:1.96 patients with asthma were enrolled in this study, the youngest age was 18 years old,the oldest age was 67 years old,the mean age was(46.06.17±12.91)years old.Among them,40 cases were male(41.67%),the average age was(43.64±14.72)years,56 cases were female(58.33%),the average age was(47.33±11.78)years.The average BMI was(23.56±2.68)Kg/m~2,the shortest course of disease was 5 months, the longest was 617 months, the average course of disease was114.57±78.15(months).2.The distribution of syndromes in 96 cases of bronchial asthma were as follows:Yang deficiency of lung and kidney group(19 cases),Qi deficiency of lung and kidney group(20 cases),Qi deficiency of lung group(30cases)and spleen and lung deficiency group(27 cases).3.There was no significant difference in BMI,sexual distinction, course of disease and age among different syndromes(P>0.05).4.The value of Feno in lung-qi deficiency syndrome was higher than that in lung-spleen qi deficiency syndrome,lung-kidney qi deficiency syndrome and lung-kidney Yang deficiency syndrome(P<0.05),and the percentage of EOS in induced sputum in the former was higher than that in the latter(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in Feno value and induced sputum EOS percentage among lung and spleen qi deficiency, lung and kidney qi deficiency and lung and kidney Yang deficiency(P>0.05).5.There was no significant difference in EOS count among different TCM syndromes(P>0.05).Conclusion:Each syndrome in BMI,sexual distinction, course of disease, age distribution, blood EOS count on no significant difference, lung qi deficiency syndrome patients in induced sputum EOS,Feno value is different than other syndromes, can be used as an objective basis of TCM dialectical, for the individualized treatment of asthma has guiding significance.
