Clinical Study Of Erdizishen Decoction In The Treatment Of Androgen Deficiency Syndrome Caused By Endocrine Therapy Of Prostate Cancer

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Erdi Zhishen Decoction on androgen deficiency syndrome caused by endocrine therapy of prostate cancer.Methods: Seventy-two patients who met the inclusion criteria for endocrine therapy of prostate cancer(bicalutamide tablets + Goserrelin acetate sustained release implant)were selected and divided into two groups according to the principle of randomized control.36 patients in the treatment group were given Erdi Zishen decoction plus or minus.Control group 36 cases received Liuwei Dihuang Wan.The changes of TCM symptom score,KPS score,PADAM score and safety index of patients in the treatment group and control group before and after treatment were examined by statistical methods,and the efficacy of the two treatment schemes was evaluated.Results:1.Various TCM symptoms: TCM symptoms: After treatment,the improvement of the syndrome scores in the treatment group(Erdi Zhishen Decoction group)was better than that in the control group(Liuwei Dihuang Wan group)in hot and night sweats,waist and knee tenderness,irritability and irritability,upset and insomnia,dizziness and tinnitus,dry mouth and throat,palpitation,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).There was no difference in the improvement of palpitation syndrome between control group and control group(P >0.05).2.Total scores of TCM syndroms: After treatment,total scores of TCM syndroms in the two groups were compared,P=0.000<0.05.The results showed that the treatment group.(Erdi Zhishen Decoction group)was significantly better than the control group in the improvement of TCM syndrome.3.clinical efficacy of TCM symptoms: overall response rate of the treatment group(Erdi Shizhen Decoction group)was 88.89%.The total effective rate of the control group(Liuwei Dihuang Wan group)was about 66.67%.The curative effect of TCM syndromes in the treatment group was better(P=0.000 < 0.05).4.KPS score: After treatment,KPS score was different between the two groups,P=0.009 < 0.05.The improvement of KPS score in the treatment group was significant super to that in the comparison group.5.PADAM score: After treatment,there was a difference in PADAM score between the two groups,P=0.000 < 0.05.The results showed that the improvement of PADAM score in the treatment group(Erdi Zhishen Decoction group group)was significantly better than that in the control group(Liuwei Dihuang Wan group).6.No adverse events occurred during the treatment,and the tested drug was safe.Conclusions: This clinical study was conducted in prostate cancer patients with androgen deficiency syndrome due to endocrine therapy.The improvement of TCM symptom score,KPS score and PADAM score in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,indicating that Erdi Zhishen Decoction was more effective than Liuwei Dihuang Pill in improving androgen deficiency syndrome caused by endocrine therapy of prostate cancer,and it was safe and feasible.
