Objective: The serum level of Golgi protein 73(Golgi protein73,GP73)in patients with chronic hepatitis B(chronic hepatitis B,CHB)was detected, and the relationship between TCM constitution types and GP73 level in CHB patients was preliminarily explored,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the better combination of TCM constitution types for the prevention and treatment of chronic hepatitis B.Method: 250 CHB patients and 30 healthy controls were recruited as the research subjects.A TCM constitution questionnaire was conducted on CHB patients, and we collected the general information, physical and chemical indexes of the patient, using enzyme-linked immunosorbent analysis method to detect serum GP73 level. After that,we analyzed the relationship between TCM constitution types and Serum levels of GP73 and physical and chemical indexes of CHB patients.Result:1.A total of 250 patients with CHB were included in this study.Among them,42 cases were gentleness type(16.80%),and 208 cases were Prejudicial constitution type(83.20%).In all constitution types,dampness-heat type>qi-depression type>gentleness type>yin-deficiency type>yang-deficiency type>phlegm-dampness type>qi-deficiency type> blood-stasis type>special diathesis type.In all cases,60 cases weredampness-heat type(24.00%),50 cases were qi-depression type(20.00%),42 cases were gentleness type(16.80%),and 40 cases were yin-deficiency type(16.00%),they were the common TCM constitution types in CHB patients, accounting for 76.80% of the total sample size.2.In different TCM constitution types of CHB patients, there were statistically significant differences in the distribution of ALT,AST levels,HBV DNA levels, inflammation grades and fibrosis stages(P<0.05).3.There was no statistically significant difference in the distribution of sexual distinction, age among CHB patients with different TCM constitution types(P>0.05).4.The serum level of GP73 in the CHB group was higher than this in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).5.In different TCM constitution types of CHB patients, the Serum levels of GP73 was statistically different(P<0.05).6.In different ALT levels,HBV DNA levels, inflammation grades and fibrosis stages of CHB patients, the distribution of serum GP73 levels was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between serum GP73 levels and ALT levels(r=0.166,P=0.009)and HBV DNA levels(r=0.544,P<0.001)and inflammation grades(r=0.144,P=0.023)and fibrosis stages(r=0.142,P=0.025).Conclusions:1.In CHB patients, serum GP73 levels were distributed in different ALT levels, inflammation grades and fibrosis stage, and showed corcorrelation with ALT levels, inflammation grades and liver fibrosis stage, suggesting that GP73 may be a valuable non-invasive serological indicator to predict liver fibrosis in CHB patients.2.The distribution of serum GP73 levels differed among patients with different TCM constitutional types of CHB.In addition, there are also differences in different TCM constitution types with ALT,AST level,HBV DNA level, inflammation grades and liver fibrosis stage. The results of this study suggest that the comprehensive evaluation of CHB patients condition combined with TCM constitution types,GP73 level, and other physical and chemical indicators may be a new entry point for the treatment of CHB with integrated Chinese and Western medicine.
