Objective:To observe the effect of combined lumbar and abdominal manipulationon on the lumbar back muscle tone and clinical symptoms and efficacy in patients with DLS,provide new ideas and clinical basis for the combined treatment program of degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis clinically. Methods:From April 2022 to January 2023,a total of 64 DLS patients who met the research criteria and were treated in the Department of Massage and Orthopedics of the Second People’s Hospital Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, with 32 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with combined lumbar and abdominal manipulation once every 3 days for a total of 10 times. The control group was treated with simple lumbar back manipulationon, once every 3days,for a total of 10 times.Using K value of the posterior table chain muscle tension coefficient, the VAS score scale, and the JOA score scale as the observation indicators, the efficacy was evaluated according to the improvement of the patients’ JOA score before and after treatment, and the comparison between groups was carried out.By observing the improvement of the condition of the patients in the two groups and the clinical efficacy of the two groups were evaluated.Results:1.Lumbar back muscle tension-K value of the posterior table chain muscle tension coefficient:Before and after treatment, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in the K value of the posterior table chain muscle tension coefficient(P<0.05),indicating that the two groups of treatments could reduce the muscle tension of the lumbar back muscles of the patients.Compared with the K value between the groups, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in reducing the muscle tension of the back muscles.2.VAS score: The VAS scores of the two groups before and after treatment were compared within the group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that both treatment schemes can relieve pain;after treatment, the VAS scores of the two groups were compared between the groups. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving pain.3.JOA score: The JOA scores of the two groups before and after treatment were compared within the group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that both treatment schemes could improve the patients’ JOA scores, symptoms and lumbar functional status;after treatment, the JOA scores of the two groups were compared between the groups. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the functional state of the lumbar spine.4.Clinical efficacy evaluation: The total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.32%,and the control group was 87.10%,after treatment, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the clinical efficacy of the treatment group for DLS was better than that of the control group. Conclusions:Manipulationon combined Lumbar and Abdominal can effectively reduce lumbar muscle tension, improve pain symptom and lumbar function in DLS patients, and its clinical efficacy is better than that of simple lumbar back manipulationon.
