ObjectiveBy analyzing the changes in quality of life and influencing factors of hypertensive migratory birds in a community in Chengmai before and after their arrival,as well as the lipid profile, plasma inflammatory levels, and oxidative-reductive levels of the study subjects in Chengmai, this study aims to comprehensively analyze the quality of life and disease status of the hypertensive migratory bird population in the community. The results can provide a basis for the prevention and treatment of hypertensive migratory birds living in a migratory style in Hainan.MethodsBetween December 2021 and January 2022,305 hypertensive migratory birds residing in the Hongshuwan community in Chengmai County,Hainan, were recruited using convenience sampling as study subjects.Informed consent was obtained from the study subjects to investigate basic information and the hometown SF-36 scale within 1 week of arrival in Chengmai. One month later, the Chengmai SF-36 questionnaire was investigated, and a ten-day follow-up was conducted, with physical examinations and blood sample collection taking place on the tenth day.The SF-36 scale consists of 36 items and 8 dimensions, with higher scores indicating better quality of life, and the scale provides a comprehensively evaluate of the quality of life of the study subjects. The study will use methods such as t-tests and analysis of variance(ANOVA)to analyze the differences in quality of life between the study subjects’ hometowns and Chengmai.Logistic regression was used to analyse the factors influencing the elevated quality of life scores for each dimension in the study population.Stepwise multiple linear regression analysis will be used to explore the factors that influence the differences in quality of life between the two locations.Elisa will be used to detect plasma inflammatory indicators(IL-6,IL-8,TNF-α,and NO)levels and oxidative-reductive indicators(8-OHd G,SOD,and MDA)concentrations in the study subjects.Single-factor analysis will be conducted using t-tests,Mann-Whitney U tests,or Kruskal-Wallis H tests to understand the basic situation of each detection index of the study subjects.Stepwise multiple linear regression analysis will be used to explore the factors that influence each detection index Results1.A total of 305 subjects were included in this study, including 148 males(48.52%)and 157 females(51.48%).The average age was(68.61±9.39)years,with140 subjects(45.90%)being ≤65 years old and 165 subjects(54.10%)being >65years old.97 subjects(31.8%)had a junior high school education or below, and 109subjects(35.74%)had a college degree or above.199 subjects(65.25%)had decreased blood pressure, while 186 subjects(60.98%)had normal high blood pressure and 10(3.28%)had stage II hypertension or higher. All subjects in the study had green water areas around their residence in Chengmai, and 82.95% of the subjects had green water areas around their hometown.2.The study found that The 8 dimensions, total quality of life scores, physical health scores(PCS)and mental health scores(MCS)of the study subjects were all higher in Chengmai than in their hometown(P<0.05).Gender,age,smoking,drinking,education level, blood pressure classification, and ventilation habits were found to be the influencing factors of the quality of life score for the subjects living in Chengmai(P<0.05).Age,drinking,and education level were found to be the influencing factors of the quality of life score for the subjects in their hometown(P<0.05).3.The multiple linear regression results showed that age, smoking, drinking, blood pressure classification,BMI,and education level were the main influencing factors of the quality of life for the subjects living in Chengmai(P<0.05).Age,smoking,drinking,blood pressure classification,BMI,education level, blood pressure changes, green water areas, family history of cardiovascular disease, and napping habits were the main influencing factors of the quality of life for the subjects in their hometown(P<0.05).Blood pressure classification(OR=2.336,95%CI: 1.125~ 4.853)was found to be a risk factor for MCS,while BMI(OR=2.195,95%CI: 1.007~ 4.786)was found to be a risk factor for total quality of life score in the study subjects(both P<0.05).4.The levels of the four blood lipids in the study subjects were related to different genders,BMI,and drinking habits.Specifically,in women, the concentrations of TC(β=0.438,P<0.001),TG(β=0.438,P<0.001),HDL-C(β=0.194,P<0.001),and LDL-C(β=0.482,P<0.001)were higher than those in men.Among participants with normal BMI,the concentration of HDL-C was higher than that in obese participants(β=-0.126,P<0.001).In addition, the concentration of TG was slightly higher in participants who drank alcohol than in those who did not(β=0.286,P=0.039).The level of oxidative stress indicators was related to different ages, blood pressure changes, and drinking habits.Specifically,in participants >65years,the concentration of 8-OHd G was higher than that in those aged ≤65 years(β=75.810,P=0.018).Moreover,the concentration of SOD was lower in participants with blood pressure reduction and drinking habits than in those without blood pressure reduction and not drinking(respectively β=-1.516,P=0.007;β=-1.223,P=0.036,).Conclusions1.The quality of life of Chengmai migratory population with hypertension has improved in individual health, physiological function, psychological function, social function, etc.,before and after coming to Chengmai.2.Gender,age,education level, blood pressure classification,BMI,blood pressure change, family history of cardiovascular disease, drinking habits, green space and water area conditions, ventilation habits, nap habits, etc.are the main influencing factors of the difference in the quality of life between the Chengmai migratory population with hypertension in the two places.Blood pressure classification is a risk factor for the MCS of the study object, and BMI is a risk factor for the ttotal quality of life score of the study subjects.3.After one month of living in Chengmai, the levels of the four blood lipid indicators and oxidative-reductive index of the Chengmai migratory population with hypertension are mainly related to gender, age,BMI,blood pressure changes, drinking habits, etc.
