Objective: The objective of this study is to explore the clinical effect of Delta endoscopic technique via interlaminar approach in the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosisResearch methods: The Delta endoscopic technique via interlaminar approach spinal surgery database and medical records from 2020 to 2021 were reviewed.Data including baseline information, operation time, complications, and follow-up data at preoperative and postoperative(3 months,6 months,12 months). The clinical efficacy was evaluated using Visual Analog Scale(VAS)for back and leg pain,Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)and modified Macnab criteria.Result: A total of 39 cases were included in this study.38 cases completed the follow-up,with a follow-up rate of 97.4%.The preoperative low back pain VAS score was(5.55 ± 1.31),and the postoperative low back pain VAS scores were(2.58 ±1.15)at 3 months,(2.00 ± 1.01)at 6 months,and(1.82 ± 1.06)at 12 months, with statistically significant differences compared with the preoperative scores(P < 0.05).The preoperative leg pain VAS score was(6.97 ± 1.84),and the postoperative leg pain VAS scores were(2.32 ± 0.96)at 3 months,(1.55 ± 1.25)at 6 months,and(1.21 ± 1.23)at 12 months, with statistically significant differences compared with preoperative(P < 0.05).the preoperative ODI score was(59.97 ± 11.88)%,3months,(22.11 ± 13.37)%,and 12 months(19.47 ± 13.84)% after surgery, with a statistically significant difference compared to preoperative(P < 0.05).Using the modified Macnab criteria: excellent in 22 cases, good in 14 cases, fair in 2 cases, and poor in 0 cases, the excellent and good rate was 94.7%.There were no statistical differences in the preoperative and postoperative low back VAS,leg pain VAS and ODI between the two groups for unilateral and bilateral decompression at each time point(3 months,6 months,12 months)and modified Macnab criteria at the final follow-up.Conclusion: The Delta endoscopic technique via interlaminar approach is a safe and effective procedure and may be a useful alternative for the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis.
