Study On The Impact Of Medical Insurance System On Resident’ Satisfaction With Medical Security

Medical security system is a basic system to ensure the health of Chinese residents.Since the reform and opening up,China has carried out a substantial reform of the medical security system;at present,the basic medical insurance system has been gradually established and improved.According to the National Statistical Bulletin on the Development of Medical Security in 2020,by the end of 2020,the insurance participation rate of China ’ s medical insurance has been stable at more than 95 %,and the number of insured people participating in urban employee medical insurance and urban and rural residents ’ medical insurance(including urban residents ’medical insurance and new rural cooperative medical insurance)has reached 1.361 billion.The parallel operation and development of the system and the continuous improvement of the financing and coverage of medical insurance have made the medical security system with Chinese characteristics continue to develop and improve,basically realizing the universal medical insurance,and effectively solving the problem of medical treatment for residents in China.It has also become a key breakthrough in the 13 th Five-Year period.In the modern society,the operation of the national people ’s livelihood system needs to continue to develop and adapt to the people ’ s good life.The research on the satisfaction of the masses of the existing system is the substantive standard to measure the effectiveness of this system.Scholars at home and abroad have carried out a lot of research on the influencing factors of satisfaction improvement of people ’s livelihood issues,and have achieved certain research results.The analysis and improvement of residents ’ satisfaction related to the people ’s livelihood system has also become one of the research hotspots in academia.The analysis and promotion of residents ’ satisfaction related to people ’ s livelihood system has also become one of the research hotspots in academia.So,the basic medical security system as one of the important people ’s livelihood security system,the main medical insurance system in improving residents ’ satisfaction with the overall medical security has played a role ?Whether there are differences in the role of various medical insurance systems and how to improve residents ’ medical security satisfaction ? This is the core issue proposed in this study.Focusing on the above research questions,this study uses the data of adult questionnaire of China Social Survey(CSS)2017 to establish Ordered Logistic model and OLS model for regression analysis to explore the impact of medical insurance participation on residents ’ medical security satisfaction.The results show that : First,in the control variables,the residents ’ own age,marital status,political status,living attributes,working status,family income,annual medical expenditure and the level of trust in the government and doctors,medical justice these factors significantly affect the residents ’ satisfaction with medical security;second,participation in medical insurance can significantly improve residents ’satisfaction with medical insurance;third,the impacts of different types of medical insurance on medical security satisfaction are also different.In the improvement of residents ’ medical security satisfaction,public health care is the highest,followed by urban workers ’ medical insurance,and urban residents ’ medical insurance and new rural cooperative medical insurance are lower.Fourth,this study also examines the mediating effect of medical justice and trust in doctors in the impact of medical insurance on residents ’ medical security satisfaction.The results show that medical justice and trust in doctors have a partial mediating effect in residents ’ medical security satisfaction.Finally,based on the results of empirical analysis,this study puts forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions from the perspective of system operation structure,agencies and public value : First,improve the financing level,coverage and security level of medical insurance system.Second,steadily promote the integration of medical insurance system.Third,improve the fairness and efficiency of basic medical security system.Fourth,strengthen the propaganda of medical insurance policy.Fifth,building a harmonious doctor-patient trust environment.
