Objective: To evaluate the value of RASSF1 A,SHOX2 gene methylation, cytology, and lung cancer-related plasma tumor markers in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF)in the diagnosis of lung cancer. Methods: A prospective study was conducted on patients diagnosed with lung cancer who were treated in our hospital from January 2021 to January2022.BALF samples were collected according to relevant requirements, followed by SHOX2 and RASSF1 A analysis in accordance with regulations. In addition, pathological information of the patient’s tissue was analyzed and organized to study the level of tumor markers and general information.Based on this, accurate statistical descriptions were conducted,To define the specific impact of DNA methylation of two types of genes on the diagnostic efficacy of peripheral lung cancer. Results: This article analyzed a total of 149 patients and screened them according to relevant standards. All of these patients met the requirements of this experiment, and there was no significant difference in various general indicators of lung cancer and benign lung disease patients(P>0.05).For 116 patients, positive SHOX2 or RASSF1 A had a sensitivity of 53.2%(25/47)and a specificity of81.2%(56/69)for disease diagnosis.Meanwhile, for the lung cancer group, the positive rates of SHOX2 positive,RASSF1 A single positive, and only one positive were 31.9%,48.9%,and 53.27%,respectively,which were higher than those in control group(4.3%,15.9% and 18.81%).The results obtained are of research significance(P<0.05).In addition, the sensitivety of CEA,CYFRA21-1,and SCC in diagnosing lung cancer reached 25.0%,50.0%,and 13.6%,all of which were relatively low.The core parameters for cytological detection of lung cancer reach 36.2%(17/47)(which not only covers cytological diagnosis of lung cancer, but also involves the detection of cases of atypical cells),and its sensitivity is not ideal. Conclusion: For the diagnosis of peripheral lung cancer, the detection of SHOX2 and RASSF1 A gene methyl in BALF is ideal. In clinical application, the combined detection of two genes may become a new screening factor. The combination of SHOX2 and RASSF1 A methylation has superior diagnostic efficacy compared to cytological tests for lung cancer and can be used as a supplement to detect patients with negative or ambiguous cytological results. |
