The Clinical Application Of High Density Porous Polyethylene Material Combined With Ear Cartilage In Rhinoplasty

Objective: At present,prosthesis technology has been widely used in nasal plastic surgery.This paper explores the clinical application value of high density porous polyethylene material combined with ear cartilage in nasal comprehensive plastic surgery.Method: A total of 49 patients who received high-density porous polyethylene material(suplatin prosthesis)Samples of ear cartilage obtained from December 2020 to June 2022 at the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University were selected.The nasal and facial parameters of patients were obtained by photo measurement method.After surgical treatment,nasal and facial parameters of patients were compared and analyzed.The surgical satisfaction and complications of the two groups were observed,so as to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of rhinoplasty with high-density porous polyethylene.Results: Through comprehensive evaluation and analysis,the postoperative nasal morphology of patients was effectively improved,and the postoperative nasal facial parameters of patients were significantly different(P<0.05),the satisfaction rate of postoperative patients on the surgical effect reached 98%,and the incidence of postoperative complications was 2%.Conclusion: High density porous polyethylene material combined with ear cartilage has good effect in nasal comprehensive plastic surgery,can effectively improve the shape of the nose,its safety is good,low complication rate,can be used as an ideal material for nasal surgery.
