| Objective:The clinical characteristics of patients with recurrence after lower limb varicose vein surgery were performed to explore the risk factors of recurrence after lower limb varicose vein surgery,so as to propose targeted preventive measures to improve the quality of life of patients. Methods:The clinical data of 271 patients admitted by the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University after surgical treatment of varicose veins of lower limbs from September 2017 to September 2021 were retrospectively analyzed.According to whether the patients recurred,97 patients who recurred after surgery were included in the observation group, and 174 patients who did not recur after surgery were included in the control group. The clinical data of the two groups were compared, and the risk factors leading to postoperative recurrence of varicose veins in patients with lower extremities were analyzed according to the results of the regression analysis by using univariate and multifactorial logistic regression analysis. Results:Binary logistic regression analysis showed that the observation group had CEAP ≥ grade 4(OR=5.471,95% CI=2.606 ~11.484),sclerotherapy(OR= 0.057,95% CI =0.011~0.286),widening of intermuscular veins(OR =26.581,95% CI=4.046~ 174.604),diabetes mellitus(OR=6.964,95% CI=1.976-24.544),insufficiency of traffic valve closure(OR=14.645,95% CI=3.788-56.621),iliac vein compression syndrome(OR=3.077,95%CI=1.174-8.070),postoperative elastic stocking wear time <3(OR=2.944,95%CI=1.397~6.202)were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).By multifactorial logistic regression analysis,CEAP grade ≥4,sclerotherapy,iliac vein stenosis, widening of intermuscular veins, diabetes mellitus, insufficiency of traffic valve closure, and wearing of elastic stockings for <3 months after surgery were risk factors for recurrence of varicose veins in the lower extremities(P < 0.05).Conclusion:CEAP classification ≥4,sclerotherapy,iliac vein stenosis, widening of intermuscular veins, diabetes mellitus, traffic valve insufficiency, and postoperative elastic stocking wear time<3 months were independent risk factors for recurrence of varicose veins in the lower extremities. |
