| Objective:To investigate the efficacy of Low-Level-Laser-Treatment(LLLT)combined with oryzanol-vitamin B2-vitamin E triple prescription in the treatment of postmenopausal women with burning mouth syndrome(BMS).Methods:90 postmenopausal women with BMS were randomly divided into three groups:group A(LLLT,n=30),group B(oryzanol-vitamin B2-vitamin E,n=30)and group C(LLLT+oryzanol-vitamin B2-vitamin E,n=30).Visual analogue scale(Visual Analogue Scale,VAS)was used to evaluate the degree of pain in the supervisor before treatment, and oral health impact scale(Oral Health Impact Profile,OHIP-14)was used to evaluate the quality of life of the patients at the present stage.Four weeks later, the changes of two indexes in the three groups were recorded again and compared with those before treatment, and the treatment efficiency of the three groups was also compared. Results:Both groups A and B can effectively reduce the VAS value after treatment, but the difference before and after treatment is not statistically significant, while group C has the most obvious effect, and the VAS score after treatment is significantly lower than that before treatment; Both group A and group B can reduce the value of OHIP-14.However,the difference before and after treatment is not statistically significant, while the score of OHIP-14 in group C is statistically different before and after treatment; After 4 weeks of careful treatment, the effective rates of the three groups were respectively(A=50.00%,B=56.67%,C=90.00%),the difference of treatment effectiveness among the three groups was statistically significant. Conclusion:LLLT and oryzanol-vitamin B2-vitamin E triple prescription are both effective therapies to reduce clinical symptoms and improve quality of life in menopausal women with BMS,and the combination of the two methods has more significant effect, high treatment efficiency and patient acceptance, which is worthy of clinical promotion and use. |
