Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Burning Mouth Syndrome With Burning Mouth Prescription

Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect and explore its mechanism of burning mouth prescription in treating burning mouth syndrome(deficiency of q-i and yin),and to provide basis for further promotion of burning mouth prescr-iption in theory and clinic.Methods: In this study,60 patients with burning mouth syndrome who met the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly assigned to a treatment group and a control group of 30 patients each.The treatment group took the sputum,twice in the morning and evening,and given mecobalamin orally,2 tablets each time,three times a day.The control group was only taken orally with mecobalamin(taking the same method as the treatment group).Four weeks was a course of treatment,and changes in clinical manifestations and syndrome scores were observed after 4 weeks,8 weeks,and 12 weeks to evaluate differences in drug efficacy.Result:(1)Before treatment,compare the age,gender,main symptom score,secondary symptom score and total symptom score of the two groups of patients.After statistical analysis,P>0.05,no statistical significance.(2)After 4 weeks,8 weeks,12 weeks,the main symptom scores,secondary symptom scores and total symptom scores were compared with those before treatment,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant;the main symptoms were compared between the two groups.Integral,secondary symptom scores and total symptom scores,P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.After comparison within the group,the TCM syndrome score decreased.(3)After three courses of treatment,30 patients in the treatment group were cured,markedly effective,and effective in total,with a total effective rate of 90%.In the control group,30 patients were cured,markedly effective,and effective in a total of15 patients.The effective rate is 50%.The main symptom scores,secondary symptomscores and total symptom scores were statistically processed,P<0.05,which was statistically significant,indicating that the total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group after the treatment.(4)In the three courses of treatment,there were 1 case of diarrhea in the treatment group and the control group,but the patients in the treatment group and the control group had typical diarrhea,indicating that the medicine of the mouth was safe.(5)During the follow-up period,4 of the 27 effective patients in the treatment group relapsed,and the recurrence rate was 14.80%.In the control group,12 of the 15 patients had recurrence,and the recurrence rate was 80.00%,P<0.05.The difference was statistically significant.It shows that there is a clear advantage in controlling the recurrence rate of burning mouth syndrome(qi-yin deficiency type).In conclusion:(1)Burning mouth can effectively improve the symptoms of patients with burning mouth syndrome(qi-yin deficiency type),reduce the recurrence rate of patients,and significantly improve the quality of life of patients.(2)The oral cavity did not encounter obvious adverse reactions in clinical application,indicating that the drug is safe and reliable.For the treatment of burning mouth syndrome(qi-yin deficiency type),the drug can be widely used and promoted in clinical practice.
