Clinical Observation On Yiguanjian Decoction Treating Primary Sjogren’s Syndrome With Yin Deficiency And Internal Heat

Objective:To observe the effect of decoction with Yiguanjian plus or minus on primary Sjogren’s Syndrome(p SS)patients with Yin deficiency and internal heat,objectively evaluate its effectiveness and safety,and provide a new method for clinical treatment of this disease.Methods:Sixty patients with yin deficiency and internal heat type p SS admitted to the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine’s First Affiliated Hospital and who met the inclusion criteria were randomly allocated to a control group 30cases)and a treatment group(30 cases).Hydroxychloroquine sulfate pills were provided to the control group,but not to the treatment group which received yiguanjian decoction plus or minus combined treatment on this basis.Both groups were treated for 8 weeks.Relevant data of patients before and clinical efficacy,TCM clinical syndrome score,laboratory indicators,exocrine gland function test,and after treatment were gathered and sorted out adverse reactions during treatment of patients in the two groups were observed,and the improvement effect of the two treatment schemes on the disease was analyzed and compared,and the efficacy was evaluated.Results:1.The treatment schemes of the two groups improved the clinical symptoms of TCM in patients to varying degrees,and the comparison of the total scores of TCM symptoms before and after treatment and between groups revealed statistically significant differences(P<0.05),with the treatment group improving more.2.Both groups could effectively improve the laboratory indexes,and there were significant differences in ESR 、Ig A、Ig G、Ig M between groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.3.Both groups could improve the function of exocrine glands,and the intra-group comparison before and after treatment and inter-group comparison after treatment had statistical significance(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.4.The total effective rate of the two groups was analyzed: the difference between the treatment group(83.33%)and the control group(66.67%)was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.In terms of safety,1 case of mild elevated transaminase and 5 cases of gastrointestinal discomfort occurred in the control group.Gastrointestinal discomfort occurred in 1 case in the treatment group.After symptomatic treatment,they all returned to normal.Conclusion:1.Yiguanjian decoction plus or minus in the treatment of primary Sjogren’s Syndrome of yin deficiency and internal heat can improve the clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine,disease related laboratory test indicators,exocrine gland function and other aspects,which can effectively relieve clinical symptoms,reduce the level of inflammation,regulate immunity,improve the secretion function of exocrine glands,and the treatment effect is better,and significantly improve the quality of life of patients.2.Treating primary Sjogren’s Syndrome of yin deficiency and internal heat with yiguanjian decoction plus or minus can effectively reduce adverse reactions and drug side effects,which is safe and reliable.
