Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of sparse and dense wave electro-acupu-ncture at the Baliao acupoints in the treatment of patients with post-stroke straining gonorrhea(type ⅢA prostatitis). The purpose is to provide a new direction of acupuncture treatment for post-stroke strain gonorrhea(type ⅢA prostatitis). Methods:In this study,70 patients with post-stroke straining were selected and divided into 35 cases in the treatment group and 35 cases in the control group according to the random number table method;2 cases were shed in the control group and 33 cases were completed during the study;1 case was shed in the treatment group and 34 cases were completed;67 cases were completed in total. Both groups were given conventional acupuncture treatment for stroke disease, and the control group was given traditional acupuncture trea-tment(refer to the acupuncture points for chronic prostatitis in Acupuncture and Moxibustion),while the treatment group was treated with sparse and dense wave electroacupuncture at the Baliao acupoints, with electrodes connected horizontally and alternating positive and negative poles. Both groups were treated once a day for 30 min,6 times a week for 2 w.The improvement of symptoms was assessed using the chronic prostatitis symptom index(NIH-CPSI)score,the Chinese medicine evidence score, the level of inflammatory response was assessed by the number of White Blood Cell(WBC)、 Small Particle of Lecithin(SPL)in the Expressed prostatic secretion(EPS),and the maximum urinary flow rate(Qmax)was assessed by bladder outlet obstruction. The collected data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 26.0,and the efficacy was evaluated according to the Chinese medicine evidence score.Results:1.after treatment by intra-group comparison,NIH-CPSI scores 、 the Chinese medicine evidence score 、 the number of WBC in both groups were lower than before treatment, and Qmax levels and SPL quantities were higher than before treatment, and the differences were significant(P<0.01);2.After treatment, the NIH-CPSI score,WBC,SPL number,Qmax level, urinary frequency, urgency, dysuria, waist and knee soreness and overall score improvement in the treatment group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05),the improvement of perineal swelling and perineal pain scores in the control group was better than that of the treatment group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05);3.The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group were 88.24% and 72.23%,respectively,and the difference in efficacy between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.sparse and dense wave electro-acupuncture at the Baliao acupoints can reduce NIH-CPSI scores、the number of WBC,increase Qmax and SPL counts in patients with post-stroke straining gonorrhea, and is superior to traditional acupuncture.2.Sparse and dense wave electroacupuncture at the Baliao acupoints is better than traditional acupuncture in improving urinary frequency, urinary urgency, painful urination, lumbar and knee weakness scores and total TCM evidence scores in post-stroke patients with straining gonorrhea, but less effective than traditional acupuncture in improving perineal swelling and perineal pain, and comparable to traditional acupuncture in improving urethral burning, urethral white burning,post-urinary dripping gonorrhea and scrotal dampness.3.Sparse and dense wave electro-acupuncture at the Baliao acupoints was effective in treating post-stroke straining gonorrhea, and the efficacy was better than that of traditional acupuncture.
