Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Warming-unblocking needling combined with Triple acupuncture in the treatment of sudden deafness of qi stagnation and blood stasis type, and to explore its mechanism and advantages,in order to provide a safe and effective acupuncture prescription for patients with sudden deafness.Methods:64 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into experimental group(32 patients)and control group(32 patients). Both groups were given basic treatment of western medicine, and the experimental group adopted Warming-unblocking needling combined with Triple acupuncture, first taking the affected side Fengchi, bilateral Hegu and Taichong for Warming-unblocking needling, and then treating the Ermen,Tinggong,Tinghui and Yifeng of the affected side with Triple acupuncture, finally, performing routine acupuncture on Zhongzhu,Xiaxi,Xuehai and Geshu on both sides;while the acupoints of the control group were selected the same as those of the experimental group, and conventional acupuncture was performed. Both groups were treated with acupuncture for 6 days a week and 1 day rest for 2 weeks.Pure Tone Audiometry(PTA),TCM Syndrome Grading and Quantitative Scoring Scale and Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)were recorded before and after treatment. The above recorded results were processed and statistically analyzed using IBM SPSS 25.0 to evaluate the difference in the curative effect of the treatment of sudden deafness between the two groups.Results:1.There was no statistical difference in the baseline data between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which were comparable.2.Intra-group comparison before and after treatment:after treatment, the scores of pure-tone-average of impaired frequency,TCM syndrome scores and HAMA scores in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison between groups after treatment:after treatment, the scores of pure-tone-average of impaired frequency,TCM syndrome scores and HAMA scores of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparison of clinical efficacy:the total effective rate of deafness was 84.38%in the experimental group and 74.19%in the control group. The curative effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of TCM syndrome improvement in the experimental group was 81.25%,while that in the control group was 61.29%.The curative effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both Warming-unblocking needling combined with Triple acupuncture and routine acupuncture are effective in the treatment of sudden deafness due to qi stagnation and blood stasis.2.The curative effect of Warming-unblocking needling combined with Triple acupuncture in the treatment of sudden deafness due to qi stagnation and blood stasis is significantly better than that of conventional acupuncture.
