Correlation Between ACRG Molecular Typing And Clinicopathological Characteristics Of Gastric Cancer

Objective: To understand the molecular pathological changes in gastric cancer(GC)tissues in this region,combined with the molecular typing of the Asian Cancer Research Group(ACRG),the clinicopathological features of each subtype were analyzed by immunohistochemistry.Correlation analysis.Methods: A total of 185 cases of gastric cancer diagnosed in the Department of Pathology,Cancer Hospital Affiliated to Xin Jiang Medical University from February 2020 to July 2021 were collected.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of MLH1,MSH2,MSH6,PMS2,E-Cadherin and P53 proteins.Combined with ACRG molecular typing,statistical analysis SPSS 22.0 used chi-square test,Fisher exact probability method and chi-square multiple comparisons between groups to analyze the correlation between each subtype and clinicopathological characteristics.Results: There were 13 cases of MSI subtype,64 cases of MSS/TP53-subtype,96 cases of MSS/TP53+ subtype and 12 cases of MSS/EMT subtype.The four subtypes were found in the primary site of tumor,the degree of tumor differentiation,Lauren classification,and WHO classification,lymph node metastasis,clinical stage,p T stage,and p N stage were all correlated.Conclusion: The molecular typing of gastric adenocarcinoma in Xinjiang obtained by immunohistochemical method is basically consistent with the case characteristics of ACRG molecular typing.MSI type,antrum or pylorus are more common,and the lymph node metastasis rate is the lowest.This type has the best prognosis among all types.MSS/TP53-(mutant)type,Lauren intestinal type is similar to diffuse type,lymph node metastasis rate is higher,mostly p T3,p T4 stage and the proportion is similar,and the prognosis is poor among TP53-related types.MSS/TP53 +(wild type)type,more common in gastric antrum or pylorus,Lauren diffuse type,shallow tumor invasion depth,mostly p T1/2 stage,relatively low clinical stage,and inferior prognosis to MSI type.MSS/EMT type,more common in gastric body,poor differentiation,Lauren diffuse type,some are signet ring cell carcinoma and mucinous adenocarcinoma,high clinical stage,highest lymph node metastasis rate,worst prognosis.
