ObjectivesIn high fat diet induced obesity animal model study found that hypothalamic-pituitary adrenal(HPA)axis dysfunction is one of the important mechanisms leading to obesity, and diet control and exercise is a common means of reducing fat,so this study plans to observe different exercise intervention on the HPA axis hormone levels, explore the possible principle of different exercise effects on the HPA axis,to provide theoretical basis for the mechanism of exercise fat reduction research.MethodsIn Beijing,100 obese subjects with hyperlipidemia aged 25 to 65 were recruited, who were randomly averaged divided into 5 groups, which are control group(group C),maximum fat oxidation intensity exercise(group F),high intensity intermittent exercise(group H),resistance strength exercise(group R)and towel exercise(group M)and each group consisted of 20 people. The four experimental groups had a 12-week exercise intervention and diet control according to the exercise program. The control group only had a diet control for 12 weeks. The principles of diet control were normal caloric intake and balanced diet.Body weight and body fat percentage, body fat(BFP),body fat percentage(AFP),body fat volume(BFM)were measured before and after intervention(AFM),Morphometric indicators of waist and hip circumference,HPA axis markers of corticotropin-releasing hormone(CRH),adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH),cortisol(CORT),11βhydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1(11β-HSD1),Related glycolipid metabolism indicators, fasting plasma glucose(FBG),total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),Related stress indicators: interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)score, anxiety self-rating scale(SAS)score, depression 。self-rating scale(SDS)score,And carried out the analysis.Results(1)After 12 weeks of intervention, body weight,BFP,AFP,BFM,AFM,and waist circumference in the exercise group were significantly decreased, except group F decreased;compared with group C,body weight,BFP and BFM were significantly decreased,in group R,and BFP and hip circumference in group H.(2)Groups F and H showed significant decrease in CRH,ACTH in group F and C,CORT in group R and 11β-HSD 1 in group H and R,without the change of HPA axis in group M;ACTH and CORT in group R and 11β-HSD 1 in group H.(3)FBG levels in groups F,H,R and M were significantly decreased;TC in group H was significantly decreased, while HDL-C increased in group C;TG and LDL-C in each group did not change significantly decreased.(4)TNF-α levels increased in Group F,H,R and C,IL-6 increased but not significantly,TNF-α increased in M,and IL-6 decreased but not significantly;C was significantly positively associated with CRH and PSQI scores,ACTH and SDS scores,F 11β-HSD 1 was significantly positively correlated with SAS scores, and H,R,and M HPA hormones were not correlated with SDS scores,SAS scores, and PSQI scores.Conclusions(1)The maximum fat oxidation intensity(FATmax)exercise, high intensity aerobic intermittent(HIAIT)exercise, resistance strength(RT)exercise and towel exercise combined with normal calorie balance structure dietary intake can significantly reduce obese adult composition and metabolism, high intensity intermittent exercise in improving body fat percentage, hip circumference, cholesterol advantage more significant, resistance strength exercise in improving the waist effect is more significant.(2)Different exercise intervention in 12 weeks can lead to a decrease in HPA axis hormone levels in obese subjects, and different exercise modes regulate the hierarchy of HPA axis.FATmax Exercise can significantly modulate hypothalamic and pituitary hormones and may relieve anxiety by reducing 11β-HSD1 levels.HIAIT exercise and RT exercise can modulate all hierarchical hormones in the HPA axis.
