Clinical Observation Of The External Application Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Combined With Simiao Yongan Prescription In Treating Deep Vein Thrombosis Of Lower Limbs (Syndrome Of Dampness-Heat Diffused Downward)

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of the external application of traditional Chinese medicine with Simiao Yongan prescription in treating deep vein thrombosis of lower limbs(syndrome of dampness-heat diffused downward).According to the improvement of patients’ clinical features and the changes of related auxiliary examination,and comparing with the basic treatment plan,to assess the overall response,feasibility and security of the external application of traditional Chinese medicine with Simiao Yongan prescription in treating lower extremity deep vein thrombosis.Methods: Patients were diagnosed as lower extremity deep vein thrombosis(syndrome of dampness-heat diffused downward)and had hospitalization,who were from Peripheral vascular department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine between December 2020 and December 2022,and dividing them randomly into treatment group and control group with 21 cases each.Two groups of patients were treated with the basic treatment plan of Sulodexide injection,Xingxiong sodium chloride injection,Low molecular weight heparin sodium injection and Simiao Yongan prescription for 14 days.The treatment group used extra treatment of the external application of traditional Chinese medicine.Two groups were contrasted by observing the scores of tumefaction,temperature and color of skin,pain,Homans,vascular color Doppler ultrasound and the total points,leg circumference of 15 cm at the upper and lower margins of the patella,D-dimer,fibrinogen before hospitalization and after therapy.The clinical efficacy was comprehensively evaluated according to the total effective rate and improvement of each index.Results: The treatment group has remarkable overall response rate(95.24%)compared to that(76.19%)of the control group(P < 0.05).The points of six items and the total points,leg circumference,D-dimer,fibrinogen were significantly improved in both groups after therapy(P < 0.05).The treatment group has better improvement in the points of six items and the total points,leg circumference compared to those in the control group(P < 0.05).After therapy,there was not statistical significance in D-dimer and fibrinogen between two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion:1.The external application of traditional Chinese medicine with Simiao Yongan prescription in treating deep vein thrombosis of lower limbs(syndrome of dampness-heat diffused downward)has obvious clinical effect and can obviously improve the tumefaction and pain,the temperature and color of skin,and leg circumference of the affected limb in patients with deep vein thrombosis of lower limbs(syndrome of dampness-heat diffused downward).2.The external application of traditional Chinese medicine with Simiao Yongan prescription in treating deep vein thrombosis of lower limbs(syndrome of dampness-heat diffused downward)were as an appropriate technique of traditional Chinese medicine to be promoted and applied in clinical by remarkable therapeutic effect and high security.
