Objective:To verify the clinical efficacy of Zhuyu Zhenyan Yin combined with GP regimen in treating patients with moderate to advanced pancreatic cancer of Qi and blood stasis type.Method:This study was conducted using a randomized controlled clinical study and included patients who presented to the Department of oncology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese medicine(Heilongjiang,China)between December 2021 and December 2022 and were diagnosed with a moderate advanced pancreatic cancer type of Qi blood stasis.Of these,30 were in the observation group and 30 were in the control group.Control group: GP chemotherapy was administered.Observation group:Zhuyu Zhenyan Yin was added on the basis of the control group.Twenty one days was set as one treatment period, and both groups were treated for two consecutive courses to observe the effects on solid tumors, the changes of tumor markers(CA19-9,CEA),TCM syndrome scores, physical condition scores, pain grading and adverse effects during the treatment of patients in both groups before and after treatment.Result:Two patients fell off in the control group and 0 in the observation group, for a total of 58 patients who completed the trial.1.There was no significant difference in the general data between the two groups(P>0.05).2.Efficacy in solid tumors:ORR in the observation group compared with ORR in the control group(26.67% vs.17.86%),the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and DCR in the observation group compared with DCR in the control group(83.33% vs.53.57%),and the efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Tumor markers(CA19-9,CEA): the precipitation of CA19-9 and CEA under observation group was better than that of the control group on average(P < 0.05).4.TCM syndrome score: after treatment, the TCM syndrome score of the two groups was decreased from that of the pretreatment group, with a significant difference(P<0.05),and the level of decrease in the score of the observation group was better than that of the control group, with a significant difference(P<0.05),with an overall response rate of 80.00% in the observation group and 46.43% in the control group, and the efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group, with a significant difference(P<0.05).5.Physical situation score: the improvement in KPS score of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.Pain grading: the improvement of pain in the observation group was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).7.Adverse effects: nausea and vomiting, diarrhea as well as myelosuppression occurred less frequently in the observation group than in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.In the treatment of solid tumors in pancreatic cancer patients with stagnant qi and blood, the combination of Zhenyan Drink and GP regimen has the effect of stabilizing pancreatic cancer lesions and delaying tumor progression.2.The combination of Yu Zhen Yan Drink and GP regimen can reduce the level of serum tumor markers and alleviate the side effects of chemotherapy in patients with intermediate and advanced pancreatic cancer with stagnant Qi and blood.3.The combination of Yu Zhen Yan Drink and GP regimen could improve the TCM symptoms, improve KPS score and relieve cancer pain in patients with intermediate and advanced pancreatic cancer with stagnant qi and blood.
