Objective:Through the clinical observation on the treatment of children with pedia-tric skin type of henoch-schonlein purpura(syndrome of blood-heat bleeding)by liangjieyuban decoction and herbal fumigation,to evaluate of the efficacy and safety of liangjieyuban decoction and herbal fumigation in the treatment.Methods:Sixty-four children were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,32 cases in each group, with the treatment time of 4 weeks. The control group was given conventional treatment with western medicine, while the experimental group added liangjieyuban decoction and herbal fumigation to the control group. To compare the observation indexes of the children in the two groups before and after the treatment, such as the basic information, the changes of TCM syndrome score and auxiliary examination score, etc. The children were followed up after 12 weeks of drug withdrawal for relapse.Results:1.Basic information analysis:After statistical test, there was no statistic-ally significant comparison between the two groups of children in terms of gender, age, and disease time(P>0.05).Showing the feasibility of comparing the two groups of information.2.Overall efficacy analysis:After drug withdrawal,it showed that the overall response rate of the experimental group was 90.0%and the overall response rate of the control group was 83.3%.The overall efficacy of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).3.Analysis of TCM syndrome score:After drug withdrawal, there were statistically significant differences in the total TCM syndrome score, the main symptoms score(purpura form, purpura site, purpura color)and the minor symptoms score(pharyngalgia, thirst, scanty and dark urine, astriction)between the two groups(P<0.05).It indicates that the TCM syndrome score of the two groups were significantly reduced after the intervention, while the reduction of the experimental group was better than that of the control group.4.Analysis of auxiliary examination score:Comparison of white blood cells,Ig A,Ig M,CD4~+,CD8~+,CD4~+/CD8~+between the two groups of children after drug withdrawal showed statistically significant differences. It indicates that the white blood cells, blood cells,Ig A,Ig M,CD4~+,CD8~+,CD4~+/CD8~+get better after the intervention(P<0.05),while the experimental group became better than the control group.5.Relapse assessment:During the follow-up period, there were 4 cases of recurrence in the experimental group and 13 cases of recurrence in the control group. The difference in relapse between the two groups of children was statistically significant(P<0.05).This indicates that recurrence was lower in the experimental group than in the control group.6.Security analysis:The urinalysis and hepatorenal function were normal during the observation period, and no kidney damage or other untoward reaction occurred.Conclusion:1.Liangjieyuban decoction and herbal fumigation has significant therapeutic effects in the treatment of henoch-schonlein purpura(syndrome of blood-heat bleeding). It is effective in improving skin symptoms,anti-inflammatory,antiallergic and immunity, with no significant untoward reaction.2.From the perspective of long-term efficacy, liangjieyuban decoction and herbal fumigationcan effectively reduce the risk of recurrence and improve long-term prognosis of children with henoch-schonlein purpura(syndrome of blood-heat bleeding).
