Objective:To investigate the status quo of patients with maintenance hemodialysis’ sense of benefit from disease, analyze the factors influencing the level of sense of benefit from disease in patients with maintenance hemodialysis, and provide a reference for improving the level of sense of benefit in patients with maintenance hemodialysis. Methods:A convenience sampling method was used to select 305 maintenance hemodialysis patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria from October 2021 to October 2022 in the hemodialysis outpatient clinics of two tertiary hospitals in Shijiazhuang City,Hebei Province as the research objects. The General Information Questionnaire,Benefits of Illness Scale(BFS),Generalized Anxiety Scale(GAD-7),Health Questionnaire Depressive Symptoms Scale(PHQ-9),Simple Coping Style Scale(SCSQ),and Comprehension Social Support Scale(PSSS)was used as a research tool to investigate patients and analyze the status and influencing factors of patients’ sense of benefit from maintenance hemodialysis.Excel software was used to establish a database, and SPSS25.0 software was used for data analysis.Descriptive statistics analysis,t test,one-way analysis of variance,Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were used to explore the status and influencing factors of patients’ sense of benefit from maintenance hemodialysis. Results:A total of 305 maintenance hemodialysis patients were investigated in this study, and 302 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 99.02%.Statistical analysis was carried out on 302 cases of research objects, the results are as follows:1.The total score of disease benefit in maintenance hemodialysis patients is(78.87±17.04)points,and the average score of items is(3.59±0.77)points;the order of 6 dimensions according to the item average score from high to low is: health behavior dimension(3.69±0.98),personal growth(3.60±0.82),acceptance(3.58±0.88),social relationship(3.56±1.02),family relationship(3.56±1.05),world outlook(3.51±0.97)points.2.The results of univariate analysis showed that gender, age, place of residence, education level, marriage, working status, main caregiver, family per capita monthly income, and dialysis age had statistically significant differences in the scores of disease benefit among maintenance hemodialysis patients Significant(P<0.05).3.The results of correlation analysis showed that the scores of anxiety, depression, and negative coping style of maintenance hemodialysis patients were negatively correlated with the scores of maintenance hemodialysis patients’ sense of benefit from disease(P<0.001);The scores of supportive and positive coping styles were positively correlated with the scores of patients with maintenance hemodialysis’ sense of benefit(P<0.001).4.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that per capita monthly family income, education level, spouse as the main caregiver, place of residence, perceived social support, coping style, and dialysis age were the influencing factors for the sense of benefit of maintenance hemodialysis patients(P<0.05),explaining 62.3% of the variability in the sense of disease benefit.Conclusion:1.The score of sense of benefit from disease in maintenance hemodialysis patients is at the middle level.2.Family per capita monthly income, education level, spouse as the main caregiver, place of residence, perceived social support, coping style, and dialysis age are the influencing factors for the score of disease benefit in patients with maintenance hemodialysis, which suggests that relevant medical workers based on Influencing factors of maintenance hemodialysis patients’ sense of benefit from disease Develop targeted nursing measures to improve patients’ sense of benefit from disease. |
