Clinical Study Of Dingxuan Granule In Treating Peripheral Vertigo Of Wind-Phlegm Disturbance Type

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Dingxuan granules in the treatment of wind-phlegm disturbance type of peripheral vertigo.Methods:The patients in this study were selected from the emergency department of Wuhu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2021 to October 2022.According to the principle of randomization and parallel control,they were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was given Betahistine mesilate tablets by oral administration,and the treatment group was given Dingxuan granules on the basis of control group for treatment course of 1 week.The changes of traditional Chinese medicine symptom score,vertigo disorder scale score,European Vertigo Scale score and total clinical effective rate of peripheral vertigo in two groups before and after treatment.After 1week of discontinuation,the patients with significant effects were followed up and the recurrence rate between the two groups was compared.Data from all trials were processed using SPSS21 software.Results:1.In the total score of TCM symptoms of vertigo,the difference before and after drug treatment between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05),suggesting that drugs in both groups could improve the score of primary and secondary symptoms of vertigo.The treatment group was better than the control group in improving the score of primary and secondary symptom of vertigo,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Among them,the treatment group was better than the control group in improving dizziness,nausea and vomiting,fatigue,abnormal sweating and attack frequency,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).In the improvement of tinnitus and deafness,the treatment effect of the two groups was similar(P > 0.05),and both groups had curative effect.2.In terms of the score of vertigo disorder scale,there were statistically significant differences between the two groups before and after drug treatment(P < 0.05),suggesting that both groups could improve vertigo and balance disorders.Intergroup comparison showed that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving vertigo and balance disorder,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.In terms of European Vertigo Assessment Scale score,there were statistically significant differences between the two groups before and after drug treatment(P <0.05),suggesting that both group could improve vestibular symptoms.Intergroup comparison showed that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving vestibular symptoms,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).4.The total effective rate of the treatment group(100%)was higher than that of the control group(96.67%)in the improvement of vertigo.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),suggesting that the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.5.In terms of recurrence,the recurrence rate of the treatment group(16.67%)was lower than that of the control group(51.72%),and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),suggesting that the treatment group was better than the control group in terms of long-term efficacy.6.In terms of safety,no adverse reactions occurred in two groups,suggesting that the drugs in two groups were safe and reliable.Conclusion:The overall curative effect of Dingxuan granules combined with Betahistine mesilate tablets in the treatment of wind-phlegm disturbance type peripheral vertigo is better than that of Betahistine mesilate tablets alone,and the curative effect is more obvious in improving TCM symptom score,vertigo disorder scale score,European vertigo Scale score and long-term therapeutic effect.It is safe and reliable,has the characteristics of simple test effect,and has certain clinical value.
