Efficacy And Safety Of Yiqi Tongluo Jiedu Decoction Combined With Chemotherapy And Immunotherapy For Advanced Lung Adenocarcinoma

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the efficacy,serological indicators,KPS score,quality of life of lung cancer,efficacy of Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndromes and possible side effects of Yiqi Tongluo Jiedu Recipe(YQTLJD)in the treatment of advanced lung adenocarcinoma patients with negative driver gene by chemotherapy combined with immunotherapy,and to evaluate whether YQTLJD can improve the therapeutic effect of patients and reduce adverse reactions.Methods: From January 1,2020 to December 31,2022,60 patients with advanced driver-negative lung adenocarcinoma diagnosed and treated in the Oncology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)were randomly divided into two groups: Another group was treated with Yiqi Tongluo Jiedu Recipe(30 cases).A course of treatment is 21 day.The changes of the observed indexes of the two groups were recorded,including objective response evaluation(ORR,DCR),serological indexes,Karnofsky score(Karnofsky score),quality of life scale for lung cancer,TCM syndrome efficacy and adverse reaction evaluation.To further explore the efficacy and advantages of Yiqi Tongluo Jiedu Decoction on the basis of chemotherapy combined with immunotherapy in patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma.Results:A total of 54 patients actually completed the study,of which the treatment group(26 cases)and the control group(28 cases)had similar baseline characteristics,and were comparable in gender,age,course of disease,smoking history,KPS score(P>0.05).(1)The ORR and DCR of the treatment group were 38.46% and 76.92%respectively;In the control group,ORR was 32.14%,DCR was 75.00%,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)Serum markers: After treatment,the serum markers(CEA,CYFRA21-1,CA125)of the two groups were significantly improved,and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).(3)KPS score: The treatment group was better than the control group in improving KPS score(P<0.05).(4)Lung cancer quality of life score: two groups of patients in the role of function,social function and cognitive function to improve the degree of contrast no significant difference(P>0.05);After treatment,the symptoms of cough,shortness of breath,appetite and constipation in the two groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment,and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in the improvement of nausea,vomiting,diarrhea,pain,sleep,alopecia and fatigue between the two groups(P>0.05);By comparing the overall quality of life,the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the quality of life(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in economic status between the two groups(P>0.05).(5)A comparison of TCM syndrome curative effect revealed that the treatment group was superior to the control group,with a statistically significant improvement in lung and spleen qi deficiency syndrome(P<0.05)being the result.(6)Adverse reactions: The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group,but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion: The treatment of Yiqi Tongluo Jiedu Decoction can significantly improve the condition of advanced lung adenocarcinoma patients with negative driver gene and deficiency of lung and spleen qi,including improving serum indicators,increasing KPS score and improving the quality of life of patients.
