| Objective:By observing the curative effect of endoscopic anterior ethmoidal nerve resection in the surgical treatment of moderate to severe allergic rhinitis, and analyzing and comparing it,we can understand its recent clinical efficacy and complications,so as to guide the surgical treatment of allergic rhinitis. Methods:Patients with allergic rhinitis who were hospitalized in our department from March 2021 to January 2023 were selected.According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,a total of 49 patients were selected and divided into observation group and control group.A total of 29 cases in the observation group were treated with endoscopic anterior ethmoidal nerve resection combined with posterior nasal nerve resection.A total of 20 cases in the control group were treated with endoscopic posterior nasal neurotomy. The patients were followed up and evaluated before operation,1 month after operation and 3 months after operation, and the corresponding values were recorded. The evaluation indexes used in the follow-up were Visual Analogue Scale / Score(VAS)and Rhinocoujunctivitis Quality of Life Questionaire(RQLQ).According to the scores of patients at different time points, whether there were complications during treatment and follow-up,the corresponding records were recorded. Results:A total of 49 patients were ultimately eligible for the study and completed postoperative follow-up.The overall postoperative response rate of the patients in the observation and control groups was 100%.Between observation group and control group,VAS scores and RQLQ scores between 1 month and 3 month were significantly different(P<0.05),There was no significant difference between the VAS scores before and 1 months and3 months after the observation group(P> 0.05);There was no significant difference in RQLQ scores before and 1 month(P> 0.05),There tically significant difference between RQLQ scores before and after 3 months(P <0.05).Comparison of nasal itching and sneezing symptoms between the two groups:There was no significant preoperative difference(P> 0.05),1 month(observation group: 4.07±2.24;control group: 6.30±1.66);3 months(observation group: 3.28±1.65;control group: 5.30±1.52)(P <0.05).In the two groups, only two cases had minor nasal bleeding in the observation group, and neither group had complications such as dry eyes and numbness of the upper palate. Conclusion:The anterior ethmoidal nerve transection combined with posterior nasal nerve transection under nasal endoscope and the posterior nasal nerve transection under nasal endoscope are two surgical methods. In the treatment of moderate to severe allergic rhinitis, the overall symptoms of patients after surgery can be significantly improved and fewer complications, and endoscopic anterior ethmoidal nerve resection combined with posterior nasal nerve resection in nasal itching, sneezing symptoms improved more significantly. |
