Objective:To investigate the correlation between Angptl 7 and coronary heart disease and the degree of coronary artery stenosis by detecting the level of Angptl 7 in the serum of patients with coronary heart disease. Methods: Inpatients with suspected coronary heart disease and coronary Angiography in Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of Youjiang Medical College for Nationalities from September 2021 to November 2022 were collected(n=236).All patients signed informed consent forms and were certified by the hospital’s ethics committee. All cases underwent coronary angiography and were confirmed for coronary heart disease by medical records and cardiologist. The patients were divided into coronary heart disease group(n= 155)and control group(n=81)according to the results of coronary angiography.According to the results of coronary angiography,Gensini score was performed, and patients with coronary heart disease group were divided into mild group(Gensini score <30 points,n=59),moderate group(Gensini score 30-60 points,n=40),and severe group(Gensini score >60 points,n=56).General clinical data, past history and blood biochemistry of all enrolled cases were collected. The elbow venous blood was collected after admission, and the OD value of Angptl 7 was detected by ELISA.The concentration of Angptl 7 was calculated and the correlation between Angptl 7 and coronary artery stenosis was analyzed.Results:(1)There were no significant differences in sex,BMI,high-density lipoprotein, apolipoprotein A1 and random blood glucose between control group and coronary heart disease group(P > 0.05).There were statistically significant differences in age, smoking history, drinking history, total cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, very low density lipoprotein, apolipoprotein B,lipoprotein a,C-reactive protein, homocysteine, erythrocyte sedimentation rate and uric acid between the two groups(P<0.05).There were significant differences in age, total cholesterol,C-reactive protein, homocysteine, erythrocyte sedimentation and uric acid(P<0.01).The mean values of age, smoking history, drinking history, total cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, very low density lipoprotein, apolipoprotein B,lipoprotein a,C-reactive protein, homocysteine, erythrocyte sedimentation rate and uric acid in the coronary heart disease group were higher than those in the control group.(2)Comparison of serum Angptl 7 level between coronary heart disease group and control group: The serum Angptl 7 level in coronary heart disease group was higher than that in control group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.01).(3)Comparison of baseline data and biochemical indexes in different coronary artery stenosis groups: there was no significant difference in baseline data and biochemical indexes among mild group, moderate group and severe group(P > 0.05).(4)Comparison of Angptl 7levels in different coronary artery stenosis groups: The level of Angptl 7 in the severe group was higher than that in the mild and moderate groups, and the level of Angptl 7 in the moderate group was higher than that in the mild group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).(5)Correlation analysis between serum Angptl 7 and clinical indicators:Serum Angptl 7 was positively correlated with smoking(r=0.153,P=0.019),drinking(r=0.158,P=0.015),C-reactive protein(r=0.179,P=0.006),erythrocyte sedimentation(r=0.144,P=0.027),uric acid(r=0.247,P < 0.001).There was no correlation with age, sex,BMI,total cholesterol, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, very low density lipoprotein, apolipoprotein A1,apolipoprotein B,lipoprotein a,homocysteine,or random blood glucose(P > 0.05).(6)Correlation analysis between serum Angptl 7 and Gensini score: Angptl 7 was positively correlated with Gensini score(r=0.489,P < 0.001).(7)Logistic regression analysis of Angptl 7 and coronary heart disease: Angptl 7(β=0.603,P < 0.001)was a risk factor for coronary heart disease.(8)Logistic regression analysis of serum Angptl 7 and the degree of coronary artery stenosis: Angptl 7(β=0.577,P <0.001)was a risk factor for the degree of coronary artery stenosis. Conclusion: 1.Angptl 7 is closely related to coronary heart disease and degree of coronary artery stenosis.2.The higher the level of Angptl 7,the more serious the degree of coronary artery stenosis.3.Angptl 7 was positively correlated with smoking,drinking,C-reactive protein, erythrocyte sedimentation, uric acid and Gensini scores.4.Angptl 7 is a risk factor for coronary heart disease and also a risk factor affecting the degree of coronary artery stenosis. |
