| Objectives:This study collected the clinical data of patients with colorectal cancer, described the basic situation of patients with colorectal cancer, analyzed the disease characteristics, compared the changes of laboratory indicators, and studied relevant factors of clinical characteristics of colorectal cancer, providing scientific basis for the clinical work of colorectal cancer.Method:From November 2018 to October 2021,the clinical data of 483 patients with first-episode colorectal cancer in a 3-A hospital in Changchun City were collected, and the basic information, disease characteristics and laboratory indicators of patients with colorectal cancer were statistically analyzed to study relevant factors of clinical characteristics of colorectal cancer. The hospital medical record system was used to export data, and IBM SPSS Statistics 24.0 was used to collate and statistically analyze the data. The measurement data were statistically described with mean±standard deviation or median and quartile interval, and the changes of laboratory indicators in patients with colorectal cancer were analyzed with t-test or rank sum test; The counting data is statistically described by using the rate or constituent ratioχ~2.The clinical characteristics of colorectal cancer patients were analyzed byχ~2test or Fisher exact probability method.Logistic regression model was used to analyze the factors related to the clinical characteristics of colorectal cancer patients.Result:1.Basic information of patients with colorectal cancer:a total of 483 patients were included in this study, including 288 males and 195 females. The age was 55-71years old,and the median age was 64 years old;43 patients≤50 years old accounted for 8.9%;144 patients aged 50-59 years, accounting for 29.8%;158 patients aged 60-69,accounting for 32.7%;138 patients aged≥70 years, accounting for 28.6%.2.Laboratory examination of colorectal cancer patients:the abnormal rates of hemoglobin content(HGB),red blood cell distribution width(RDW)and lymphocyte count(LY)were 37.3%,16.8%and 13.7%,respectively;The abnormal rates of aspartate aminotransferase(AST),creatinine(CREA)and prealbumin(PA)were30.0%,41.8%and 29.0%,respectively;The abnormal rates of prothrombin time(PT)and fibrinogen(Fg)were 15.1%and 23.6%,respectively;The abnormal rates of alpha-fetoprotein(AFP),carbohydrate antigen 199(CA199)and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)were 1.7%,14.1%and 53.6%,respectively.3.Infiltration depth of colorectal cancer patients:87 patients had infiltration depth ranging from stage I to stage II,accounting for 17.8%;397 patients had infiltration depth of stage III-IV,accounting for 82.2%.The results of univariate analysis showed that the degree of differentiation, anemia symptoms, lymph node metastasis, red blood cell distribution width(RDW),ALT,total bilirubin(T-bil),prealbumin(PA),TT,fibrinogen degradation products(FDP),fibrinogen assay(Fg),and CEA had statistical significance(P<0.05)for the depth of infiltration in colorectal cancer patients.4.Differentiation degree of colorectal cancer patients:54 patients had low differentiation degree, accounting for 11.2%;397 patients had moderate differentiation, accounting for 82.2%;32 patients were highly differentiated, accounting for 6.6%.The results of univariate analysis showed that the depth of infiltration, primary site, lymph node metastasis,HGB,and ALT had statistical significance(P<0.05)for the differentiation degree of colorectal cancer patients.5.Primary site of colorectal cancer patients:44 patients had right colon cancer, accounting for 9.1%;439 patients were diagnosed with left colorectal cancer, accounting for 90.9%.The results of univariate analysis showed that the history of diabetes, degree of differentiation, anemia symptoms,HGB,RDW,mean platelet volume(MPV),platelet volume distribution width(PDW),ALT,T-bilα-L-fucosidase(AFU),PA,TT and FDP were statistically significant for the primary site of colorectal cancer(P<0.05).6.Anemia in colorectal cancer patients:91 patients had anemia, accounting for18.8%;392 patients did not experience anemia, accounting for 81.2%.The results of univariate analysis showed that age, depth of infiltration, primary site, distal metastasis,WBC,PLT,RDW,lymphocyte count(LY),ALT,AST,T-bil,AFU,A/G,fibronectin(Fn),PA,D-Dimer,TT,PTA,prothrombin time(PT),and FDP were statistically significant for anemia in colorectal cancer patients(P<0.05).7.Lymph node metastasis in colorectal cancer patients:206 patients had lymph node metastasis, accounting for 42.7%;277 patients did not experience lymph node metastasis, accounting for 57.3%.The results of univariate analysis showed that gender, depth of infiltration, degree of differentiation,PLT,CREA,CA199,and CEA were statistically significant for lymph node metastasis in colorectal cancer patients(P<0.05).The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that different infiltration depths, differentiation levels, and CREA had statistical significance(P<0.05)for lymph node metastasis in colorectal cancer patients.8.Distal metastasis in colorectal cancer patients:25 patients had distant metastasis, accounting for 5.2%;458 patients did not experience distant metastasis, accounting for 94.8%.The results of univariate analysis showed that gender, anemia symptoms,HGB,alkaline phosphatase(ALP),T-bil,5`-nucleotidase(5`-NT),white blood cell ratio(A/G),PA,globulin(GLB),and CEA had statistical significance(P<0.05)for distal metastasis in colorectal cancer patients. The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that ALP,A/G,and CEA had statistical significance(P<0.05)for distal metastasis in colorectal cancer patients.Conclusion:1.Colorectal cancer patients are more male than female, and the majority of middle-aged and elderly people. The incidence site is mostly the left side of the colon. Most patients did not experience anemia upon admission and were in a state of advanced stage, without lymph node metastasis,or distant metastasis.2.In the laboratory examination of colorectal cancer patients, carcinoembryonic antigen, creatinine and hemoglobin were the top three abnormal rates.3.The depth of invasion, degree of differentiation and creatinine may be factors associated with colorectal cancer lymph node metastasis.4.Alkaline phosphatase, leukocyte ratio and carcinoembryonic antigen may be factors associated with distal metastasis in colorectal cancer patients. |
