| Objective:In the past decades, although the incidence rate of gastric cancer has declined,it is still a disease that seriously damages human health. The main treatment for gastric cancer is still surgery. The prognosis and treatment of gastric cancer after surgery mainly rely on the guidance of TNM staging.Tumor deposits have a certain impact on the prognosis of gastric cancer patients, but there is no clear conclusion yet. This study mainly explores the relationship between tumor deposits and clinical pathological data of patients after radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer, and analyzes the prognostic value of tumor deposits in patients after gastrectomy for gastric cancer..Method:A total of 399 patients with gastric cancer who underwent surgical treatment in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from August 2017 to August2019 were selected as the research objects.According to the postoperative pathological results, all patients were divided into a nodule negative group and a nodule positive group.Explore the relationship between tumor deposits and patient pathological data,as well as their impact on patient survival and prognosis. The significance level of all statistical analyses is P<0.05.Results:Among 399 patients,49(12.3%)were positive for tumor deposits and 350(87.7%)were negative for tumor deposits. The 3-year DFS of tumor deposits positive patients were lower than those of tumor deposits negative patients.Univariate findings showed that tumor deposits were associated with tumor size(P=0.002),depth of invasion(P<0.001),lymph node metastasis(P<0.001),intravascular cancer thrombus(P<0.001),and nerve invasion(P=0.001).Logistic multivariate analysis showed that tumor size(P=0.001),lymph node metastasis(P=0.006)and intravas cular cancer thrombus(P=0.027)were independent correlation factors for tumor deposits.Single factor survival analysis showed that the prognosis of patients with gastric cancer was significantly correlated with the depth of tumor invasion tissue, lymph node metastasis, nerve invasion, endovascular cancer thrombi, and tumor deposits In the multivariate Cox regression analysis model, the results showed that tumor deposits(P=0.014)were independent risk factors for the prognosis of patients with gastric cancer Conclusion:In patients with gastric cancer, tumor deposits are associated with lymph node metastasis, intravascular cancer thrombus and other factors, and tumor deposits are independent prognostic factors for patients after radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer. |
