Objective:To explore the differences in species and abundances of bacterial communities among different inflammatory endotypes in chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps.Methods:1.48 patients in the experimental group of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps(CRSwNP patients)and 19 patients in the control group of nasal septal deviation are selected to collect clinical data.2.Bacterial PCR amplification of nasal secretions from the middle nasal tract is performed intraoperatively in both the patients with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps and the control patients.3.Nasal polyps are taken intraoperatively to count inflammatory cells under high magnification microscopy after HE staining 、 classify into different inflammatory endotypes and used for cytokine assays.4.Bacterial 16 SrRNA gene sequencing analysis is performed on the sequencing platform.Results:1.Alpha diversity analysis shows the higher microbial diversity in the eosinophilic inflammatory group and the non-eosinophilic non-neutrophilic inflammatory group than in the control group(P<0.05).2.Comparison between CRSwNP inflammatory groups,Staphylococcus,Corynebacterium propinquum, and Pandoraea are the differential species in the eosinophilic inflammatory group, neutrophilic inflammatory group,non-eosinophilic and non-neutrophilic inflammatory group,respectively.3.Comparison between CRSwNP inflammatory groups, and control group finds that Amycolatopsis is the dominant bacterium in the eosinophilic inflammatory group and Bacillus_smithii is the dominant bacterium in the non-eosinophilic and non-neutrophilic inflammatory group. Conclusion:The CRSwNP groups differ from the control group in bacterial diversity, microbial abundances are significantly different between the CRSwNP and control groups, and bacterias are associated with the CRSwNP inflammatory endotypes, perhaps as a predictive tool.
