Objective:This study observed the clinical effect of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction plus Jiahe acupoint application combined with Mosapride citrate tablets in the treatment of postoperative constipation(qi deficiency type)patients with colorectal cancer.Methods:Sixty-four subjects meeting the inclusion criteria of this study were selected and randomly divided into control group(32 cases)and treatment group(32 cases). The control group was treated with Western medicine(Moxapride citrate tablets)orally, and the treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine decoction(Buzhong Yiqi Decoction plus or minus)orally combined with acupoint application for external use on the basis of the control group. Both groups needed to be treated for 2 courses of 10 days per course, with an interval of 3 days between the two courses. The indexes before and after treatment were recorded in both groups. After the treatment, the scores of the main symptoms of the patients were observed: time change(bowel interval, duration of defecation),difficulty of defecation, intention of defecation, and quality of defecation.Scores of minor symptoms of the subjects in the two groups were recorded: anal pain, abdominal pain, abdominal distension, total score of constipation and TCM syndrome score were monitored.SPSS25.0 software was used to make statistical analysis of the data obtained during the treatment, and the results were tested to evaluate and analyze the clinical efficacy of the Chinese medicine combined with Western medicine in the treatment of the enrolled subjects.Results:1.There were no significant differences in gender, age, course of disease and other baseline data between the two groups(P >0.05).2.Comparison of efficacy: In terms of efficacy evaluation of constipation: the results of rank sum test showed that there was a significant difference in efficacy between the treatment group and the control group, and the treatment group was more able to improve constipation symptoms than the control group. The results of the rank sum test showed that the total effective rate of the treatment group(96.88%)was better than that of the control group(87.5%),and the difference between the two groups was significant(P < 0.01).3.The results of single index of constipation were observed: after treatment, there was no statistical significance in defecation interval time(P > 0.05)and defecation time(P > 0.05)between control group and treatment group(P > 0.05).The total scores of defecation difficulty, stool quality, excretion intention, anal pain, abdominal pain, abdominal distension and constipation were significantly different between the control group and the treatment group(P < 0.05).Therefore,in this study, oral Chinese medicine combined with acupoint application combined with Mosapital citrate tablets in the treatment of constipation with qi deficiency after colorectal cancer surgery, the overall symptoms in terms of defecation difficulty, stool quality, excretion intention, anal pain, abdominal pain and abdominal distension have significant effects. No matter in the treatment group or the control group, the differences of each index before and after treatment were statistically significant(P < 0.01).4.Comparison of individual observation indexes of TCM syndrome: there was no statistical significance between the two groups before and after treatment in the aspects of short-breath sweating, facial whiteness and fatigue scores, and the scores of limb fatigue and fatigue after urination(P > 0.05);There was no statistical significance in the total scores of TCM syndromes(P > 0.05).After treatment, there was no statistically significant difference between the control group and the treatment group in short-breath sweating(P > 0.05),and all observation indexes and TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were significantly improved after treatment(P < 0.05).Compared with the control group after treatment, facial fatigue, limb fatigue, fatigue after urination and TCM syndrome score were significantly improved(P < 0.05).Conclusion :Buzhong Yiqi Decoction combined with acupoint application combined with Mosapride citrate tablets has significant clinical efficacy in the treatment of constipation with qi deficiency after operation of colorectal cancer, which is better than the control group. It can effectively improve the postoperative constipation symptoms of patients, and significantly improve the TCM syndromes of patients.
