| Objectives To investigate the relationship between methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase(MTHFR C677T)gene polymorphism and blood lipids in patients with preeclampsia(PE)and gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM),and to study the correlation between MTHFR C677 T and blood lipids in patients with PE and GDM.Methods A retrospective study was conducted on 300 pregnant women who underwent regular antenatal examination and termination of pregnancy in Hebei Provincial people’s Hospital from January 2020 to July 2021,including PE group(n=100),GDM group(n=100)and healthy pregnant group(n=100).The admission routine data, blood lipids and MTHFRC 677 T genotypes of pregnant women in each group were recorded, and the correlation between each research index and PE group and GDM group was analyzed.According to the different levels of blood lipids, each group was divided into two subgroups: abnormal lipid metabolism group and normal lipid metabolism group, and the correlation between MTHFR C677 T genotypes and blood lipids was analyzed. Results 1 PE compared with healthy pregnant women,pre-pregnancy body mass index(BMI),parturient ratio, total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low density lipoprotein(LDL),very low density lipoprotein(VLDL),apolipoprotein A1(apo A1),apolipoprotein B(apoB)and TT genotype ratio in MTHFR C677 T in PE group were significantly higher than those in healthy pregnant group(P<0.05).The results of Logistics univariate and multivariate analysis showed that pre-pregnancy BMI(OR=1.306,95%CI:1.134-1.505),parturient women(OR=4.495,95%CI:1.773-11.398),TG(OR=2.835,95%CI:1.663-4.833)and TT genotype(OR=3.375,95%CI:1.017-11.196)were independent risk factors for PE.2In PE group, the ratios of blood lipids(TC,LDL,apoB)and TT genotypes in the severe manifestation group were significantly higher than those in the non-severe manifestation group(P<0.05).3 GDM compared with healthy pregnant women, the age,pre-pregnancy BMI,parturient ratio, blood lipids(TG,apo A1),CT genotype and TT genotype ratio in the GDM group were significantly higher than those in the healthy pregnant group(P<0.05),while the values of high density lipoprotein(HDL)and LDL in the GDM group were significantly lower than those in the healthy pregnant group(P<0.05).Logistics univariate and multivariate analysis showed that BMI before pregnancy(OR=1.170,95%CI:1.062-1.288),age(OR=1.094,95%CI:1.006-1.190),TG(OR=1.528,95%CI:1.048-2.228)and TT genotype(OR=2.482,95%CI:1.050-6.284)were independent risk factors for GDM.4Compared with normal lipid metabolism group, abnormal lipid metabolism group in PE group and GDM group, the frequency of CC genotype in abnormal lipid metabolism group in PE group and GDM group was lower, while the frequency of CT genotype and TT genotype in abnormal lipid metabolism group was higher than that in normal lipid metabolism group(P<0.05).Comparing the frequency of alleles between the two groups, the results showed that the frequency of T allele was higher than that of normal lipid metabolism group, and the frequency of C allele was lower than that of normal lipid metabolism group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions 1 BMI,parturient,TG and TT genotypes before pregnancy were independent risk factors for PE.2 The genotypes of TC,LDL,apoB and TT are related to the severity of PE.3 BMI,age,TG and TT genotypes before pregnancy were independent risk factors for GDM.4 MTHFR C677 T gene polymorphism in PE and GDM is associated with blood lipids.Figure 0;Table 17;Reference 125... |
