| PurposeImpaired glucose regulation refers to a state in which the body’s fasting blood sugar is between the normal glucose value and the diabetic glucose value, which has many negative impacts on the patient’s personal life.Aerobic training is currently recognized as a better exercise therapy for diabetic patients. In this study,a 6-month moderate-intensity rowing machine exercise method was used in males with impaired glucose regulation, and the changes in glucose metabolism indexes, body shape indexes and other related indexes of the people with impaired glucose regulation before and after the experiment were observed.Effects of interventions using exercise patterns in people with impaired glucose regulation.MethodsParticipants: 35 male subjects with impaired glucose regulation. Those who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into exercise group(n=20)and control group(n=15).The exercise group performed rowing machine exercise for six months, while the control group maintained a normal lifestyle without any intervention. In the first month of exercise intervention, the exercise intensity was18 paddles/min(about 60% MHR),the exercise time was 70 minutes each time, and the exercise frequency was 3 times a week;from the second month to the fourth month of exercise intervention, the exercise intensity was 20 Paddles/min(about 65% MHR),exercise time was 75 minutes each time, exercise frequency is 3 times a week. From the fifth month to the sixth month of the exercise intervention, the exercise intensity was 22 paddles/min(about 70% MHR),the exercise time was 80 minutes each time, and the exercise frequency was 4 times a week. Before and after the experiment, the subjects were tested for fasting blood glucose, insulin, glycosylated hemoglobin,triglyceride,low-density lipoprotein, cholesterol, height, weight,BMI,step test,2-kilometer walk, and plantar pressure.Statistical analysisIn this study,SPSS23.0 was used for statistical analysis of the data, and the data were expressed as mean ± standard deviation. The comparison of each index within the group was performed by paired samples T test, and the comparison between groups was performed by independent samples T test.P<0.05 indicates a statistically significant difference.Results(1)Compared with the control group, after six months of rowing exercise intervention, the subjects with impaired glucose regulation in the experimental group had significantly lower levels of fasting blood glucose, insulin, and glycosylated hemoglobin(P<0.05);cholesterol and glycerol Triester content decreased(P<0.05),and low-density protein was slightly higher than that of the control group;BMI decreased significantly(P<0.05);there was a decreasing trend at 2 km time, the average heart rate after the stair test and the one-minute heart rate after the stair test were significantly The pressure on the outside of the heel and the pressure on the arch of the foot decreased significantly(P<0.05).(2)Compared with the experimental group before and after the intervention, the subjects with impaired glucose regulation in the experimental group had significantly lower fasting blood glucose, insulin, and glycosylated hemoglobin after rowing machine exercise intervention(P<0.05);cholesterol content decreased(P<0.05);BMI After the step test, the heart rate and significantly increased(P<0.05),and the pressure of the first toe, lateral heel and arch of the foot decreased significantly(P<0.05).ConclusionsModerate-intensity rowing exercise intervention has a good effect on improving the glucose metabolism and lipid metabolism in men with impaired glucose regulation, and can also improve cardiopulmonary function, effectively relieve abnormal foot pressure, and reduce peripheral neuropathy in people with impaired glucose regulation, thereby reducing the incidence of diabetes. |
