Research On The Academic Experience Of Professor Ban Xiuwen,A Master Of Traditional Chinese Medicine,in The Use Of Flower Drugs

Objective: This article takes 504 effective medical cases and works of Professor Ban Xiuwen,a master of traditional Chinese medicine,on the use of floral drugs as the research object.It deeply explores Professor Ban Xiuwen’s academic ideas and clinical experience in using floral drugs,with the aim of further guiding clinical practice of traditional Chinese medicine,and continuously inheriting and promoting the valuable academic experience of Professor Ban Xiuwen,a master of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: On the basis of literature research,frequency analysis and association rule analysis methods were used to conduct data mining on 504 medical cases of Professor Ban Xiuwen’s use of floral drugs,and to conduct research on the academic ideas and clinical experience of renowned traditional Chinese medicine practitioners combining theory,clinical practice,and mathematical theory.Results:(1)Summarize the academic ideas reflected by Professor Ban Xiuwen when using floral drugs: floral drugs must be used for regulating qi,floral drugs must be used for dispersing blood stasis and resolving stagnation,floral drugs must be used for pleasing the liver and invigorating the spleen;(2)Professor Ban Xiuwen has a total of 504 medical records of using floral drugs,including 21 types of floral drugs.The top ten in descending order of specific cases of each flower drug are as follows: Prunella vulgaris(116cases),Albizia albicans(116 cases),saffron(84 cases),chrysanthemums(58cases),typhus(34 cases),honeysuckle(25 cases),millet grass(22 cases),camphor(21 cases),winter flowers(19 cases),and wild chrysanthemums(17cases);(3)Professor Ban Xiuwen’s use of floral drugs involves the top ten most frequently used treatment methods,which are: nourishing blood,resolving blood stasis,tonifying qi,soothing liver,activating blood,promoting qi,softening and strengthening the spleen,nourishing yin,and unblocking collaterals;(4)Through frequency analysis and association rules analysis of the drug composition of 504 medical cases,it was found that Professor Ban Xiuwen used floral drugs with characteristic drug pairs:Prunella vulgaris and sea pumice,Prunella vulgaris and green skin,Albizia albicans and dodder seed,Albizia albicans and sweet pine,Lingxiao flowers and soil poria cocos,Lingxiao flowers and chicken blood vine,and compatible formulas: Xiaoyao powder,Danggui Shaoyao powder,etc.Conclusion(s): This study conducts traditional literature research and data mining analysis on Professor Ban Xiuwen’s works and medical cases of using floral drugs.Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis,it condenses Professor Ban Xiuwen’s academic ideas on using floral drugs,summarizes Professor Ban Xiuwen’s clinical experience in using floral drugs,and provides detailed data support.This enriches the academic experience of Professor Ban Xiuwen,a master of Chinese medicine,and promotes the development of Bagui medicine.
