Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of "Gentongyin" ointment in the treatment of residual neurological symptoms after percutaneous endoscopic lumbar disc herniation,to analyze the mechanism of "Gentongyin" ointment in the treatment of residual neurological symptoms after percutaneous endoscopic lumbar disc herniation, and to verify the effectiveness of"Gentongyin" ointment in the treatment of residual neurological symptoms after percutaneous endoscopic lumbar disc herniation. To provide reference for clinical treatment optimization. Methods:Sixty patients with residual neurological symptoms after percutaneous endoscopy for lumbar disc herniation were selected from the Department of Spinal Surgery,Ruikang Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2020 to December 2022.Patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 30 cases in each group by random number table method. On the basis of common routine treatment, the control group was given Celecoxib capsules and mecobalamine tablets orally, while the observation group was given "Root Chuyin" ointment and mecobalamine tablets orally, and continued to take drugs for 2 weeks.VAS scores,JOA scores and ODI scores of patients were recorded and compared before treatment,1 week after treatment,2 weeks after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment through inpatient, outpatient and telephone follow-up.Meanwhile,clinical efficacy of patients was evaluated using modified MacNab efficacy evaluation criteria 4 weeks after treatment. The data obtained were processed using SPSS26.0 statistical software.Results:1.The baseline data of the two groups, such as age, gender, course of disease, and responsible segment, were not statistically different(P>0.05).2.Comparison of VAS scores between the two groups before and after treatment:there was no statistically significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable. The VAS scores of the two groups at 1 week,2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment were significantly lower than those at the previous time point, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results showed that both the observation group and the control group could relieve postoperative pain. The VAS scores of the observation group and the control group were compared at 1 week,2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The results suggest that the observation group is superior to the control group.3.Comparison of JOA scores between the two groups before and after treatment:there was no significant difference in JOA scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable. The JOA scores of the two groups at 1 week,2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment were significantly higher than those of the previous time node, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results showed that both the observation group and the control group could promote the recovery of lumbar function. After 1 week,2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment, the JOA scores of the observation group and the control group were compared, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results suggest that the observation group is superior to the control group.4.Comparison of ODI scores before and after treatment between the two groups:The ODI scores of the two groups before treatment were compared,P>0.05,and the difference was not statistically significant, indicating comparability.ODI scores of 1,2 and 4 weeks after treatment in 2 groups were significantly lower than those of the previous time nodes, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The results showed that lumbar function could be improved in both the observation group and the control group. The ODI scores of the observation group and the control group were compared 1,2 and 4 weeks after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).It is suggested that observation group is better than control group.5.Comparison of the efficacy of modified MacNab between the two groups:the overall effective rate of the observation group was 93.33%and that of the control group was 86.67%.The rank sum test showed P<0.05,which was statistically significant, indicating that the overall efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group. Conclusion:"Gentongyin" ointment is effective in the treatment of residual nerve symptoms after percutaneous endoscopic lumbar disc herniation, which can relieve the postoperative discomfort of patients faster and better, promote the postoperative recovery of patients, and improve the quality of life of patients. It is worthy of further clinical promotion and application. |
