Objective: This study systematically collected and sorted out the medical records of outpatients with Helicobacter pylori infection treated by Professor Chen Qiao.Through data mining,Professor Chen Qiao’s prescription experience in the treatment of this disease and his clinical thinking in the treatment of Helicobacter pylori were summarized and analyzed,so as to enrich the thoughts of diagnosis and treatment of Helicobacter pylori with traditional Chinese medicine. Methods: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the clinical research information integration platform of Liuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was used to collect the cases of Helicobacter pylori infection diagnosed in the outpatient department of Liuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2022 to December 2022 after the treatment of Professor Chen Qiao. The case information was input into the "Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Auxiliary platform(V3.0)".The software was used to analyze the patient’s age, gender, symptoms, tongue appearance, pulse appearance,TCM syndrome type, constitution type, medication frequency, nature and taste, meridian tropism, and drug effect. On the basis of the above analysis, the common drug combination, the correlation degree of drug combination, and the analysis of external treatment prescription rules were completed.Combined with objective data and subjective understanding,Professor Chen Qiao’s prescription rules and academic thoughts on the treatment of Helicobacter pylori were summarized and analyzed. Results: A total of 181 cases of Helicobacter pylori infection treated in Professor Chen Qiao’s outpatient clinic were included in this study. The specific statistical results were as follows:1.General statistics: There were 68 male patients(37.57%)and 113 female patients(62.43%),with a male to female ratio of 1:1.66.The age span of the patients was 18-80 years old,and the patients aged 30-59 years old were concentrated, accounting for 70.71%.The high incidence age of the disease was 50-59 years old, accounting for 29.28%.2.Symptoms,constitution and drug mining statistics: The five most common symptoms were epigastric pain, poor sleep, acid reflux and heartburn, fatigue and loose stool. The top three most common tongue images were light tongue, white tongue and light red tongue. The four kinds of biased constitution susceptible to Hp were Qi-deficiency constitution, phlegm dampness constitution,Qi-stagnation constitution and yang-deficiency constitution.A total of 98 Chinese herbs were used for statistical analysis, with a total frequency of 2460 times. The top 10 drugs were fried glycyrrhizae radix,Radix bupleurum,Poria codonopsis,Tangerine peel,Pinellia pinellia, jujube seed,Radix paeoniae alba,Buddha’s hands, and Radix saphenae. The above frequency accounted for 51.87% of the total use frequency. The top three in the distribution of four qi were warm, flat and cold, and the top three in the distribution of five flavors were spicy, sweet and bitter.3.Correlation analysis of constitution and syndrome types: the collected cases had 4 constitutions, among which qi deficiency was the most common(119 cases)and symptomatic patients(108 cases). There were 25 patients with phlegm-dampness and 16 patients with symptoms. There were 19 patients with Yang deficiency and 17 patients with symptoms. There were 18 patients with Qi-depression and 16 patients with symptoms. For qi deficiency, the syndrome of spleen and stomach is more common;for phlegm dampness, the syndrome of spleen deficiency and dampness is more common;for qi stagnation, the syndrome of liver qi attacking the stomach is more common;4.Prescription rules: According to the data mining, the stage of hiding the evil inside was revealed.Teather Chen used the external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine to adjust the biased physique, among which the top 5 frequent external treatment methods of traditional Chinese medicine were moxibustion, acupuncture, cupping, gua sha and wax therapy. At the stage of pathogen exposure, the basic prescription for clinical treatment of helicobacter pylori infection by Chen was Chailing Decoction. After addition or subreduction of drugs according to different syndrome types, the core prescriptions commonly used were Chailing Qingyou Decoction, dehumidifying Zhengqi decoction, soothing liver and stomach decoction and warming Yang Qingyou decoction. Conclusion: Professor Chen Qiao puts forward the diagnosis and treatment mode of Helicobacter pylori based on "mutual differentiation of signs and symptoms".Helicobacter pylori is classified into the category of "latent pathogens",which is divided into two stages: internal storage and exposure of latent pathogens. When the latent pathogens are hidden, the corresponding external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine is given after identifying the constitution. When latent pathogens were exposed, syndrome differentiation and treatment were combined with adjustment of body constitution.According to different syndrome types, the methods of invigorating spleen and qi,invigorating spleen and removing dampness, soothing liver and regulating qi,warming Yang and invigorating spleen were respectively adopted. The clinical medication is characterized by gentleness. In clinical practice,Xinqi is used to reduce bitter, cold and heat are regulated simultaneously,qi and stomach are activated, which reflects the principle of promoting the circulation of the bowels and treating the middle jiao as balance. In essence,it improves the internal environment of Hp host and prevents Hp from the source, which contributes different thinking to the treatment of this disease in traditional Chinese medicine.
