Professor Chen Taohou’s Clinical Experience And Academic Thought On Syndrome Differentiation And Treatment Of Children’s Cough And Asthma

Objective:Using the inheritance platform of traditional Chinese medicine through the method of data mining,this paper discusses thecompatibility law of drug groups and drug pairs from theprescription information of Professor Chen taohou’s firstdiagnosis of children’s cough and asthma syndrome,and refinesthe characteristics and academic thought of Professor Chentaohou’s prescription,so as to broaden the thinking and improve the curative effect in the clinical practice of diagnosis and treatment of children’s cough and asthma syndrome in the future.Methods:The first diagnosis complete prescription case information of1505 children with cough and asthma syndrome treated by Professor Chen taohou in the expert clinics of the two hospitals of Hubei traditional Chinese medicine hospital（huayuanshan and Fenghuang）from January 2015 to January 2020 was collected.After standardizing the terms of traditional Chinese medicine,the case data were entered into the inheritance platform of traditional Chinese medicine,and the data statistics and analysis functions of the software were used to mine the laws of syndrome differentiation, treatment and prescription.Results:1.The children with cough and asthma syndrome in Professor Chen’s outpatient clinic are mainly pre-school and school-age,with more boys than girls,male:female = 1.56:1.2.The results of solar terms statistics showed that 368 cases were treated in spring,363 cases in summer,345 cases in autumn and 429 cases in winter.The number of children with cough and asthma in winter is more,and the solar terms with more visits are winter solstice,mild cold,severe cold,heavy snow and tingling.3.The results of frequency statistics show that among 1505 prescriptions,440 traditional Chinese medicines are included,with a total frequency of 953 times.According to the order of use frequency,they are Cinnamon Twig,black plum,white peony,Pinellia ternata,angelica,ephedra,tangerine peel,Angelica dahurica,chuanxiong and poria cocos.4.The statistical results of four Qi and five flavors of drugs can clearly show that the four Qi of commonly used drugs for cough and asthma syndrome are mainly warm,followed by flat and cold,and most of the five flavors are pungent,bitter and sweet.5.The statistical results of meridian tropism show that most drugs are attributed to lung meridian,with a frequency of 9140 times,followed by spleen and liver meridian.6.The statistical results of drug efficacy show that the most used drugs are those for relieving symptoms,followed by those for tonifying deficiency,resolving phlegm,relieving cough and asthma,clearing heat,regulating qi and so on.7.The association rule results show that the top 5 drug combinations are in turn;Ephedra,Pinellia ternata;Cassia twig and black plum;Pinellia ternata and tangerine peel;Cassia twig and Angelica sinensis;Black plum,white peony.8.Five core combinations through cluster analysis:（1）black plum,white peony,Cinnamon Twig,tangerine peel,Angelica sinensis,white peony and roasted licorice;（2）Roasted licorice,Angelica dahurica,bupleurum,towel gourd,red bean,Xanthium sibiricum seed;（3）Roasted licorice,Cinnamon Twig,white peony,loofah collaterals,Inula spinosa,centipede;（4）Cassia twig,black plum,ephedra,white peony,Pinellia ternata;（5）Ephedra,Radix Paeoniae Alba,Poria cocos,Cinnamon Twig,Pinellia ternata,black plum.9.Professor Chen’s medication for syndrome differentiation and treatment of children’s cough and asthma is as follows: common drugs for resolving phlegm,relieving cough and relieving asthma include Pinellia ternata,baiqianzi,Platycodon grandiflorum,Capricorn,Fritillaria thunbergii,almond,mulberry bark,Tingli,Stemona,aster（roasted）,winter flower,etc.common drugs for relieving symptoms include cicada decidua,ephedra,cassia twig,bupleurum,notopterygium notopterygium,Angelica dahurica,cohosh,Fangfeng,Schizonepeta tenuifolia,etc.common drugs for tonifying deficiency include roasted Astragalus,Angelica sinensis,rehmannia,yam Polygonatum,Psoralea corylifolia,Fructus alpiniae,Radix Paeoniae Alba,etc.commonly used drugs for clearing heat include Forsythia suspensa,Houttuynia cordata,Artemisia annua,Rhizoma Coptidis,Cortex Phellodendri,honeysuckle,etc.commonly used drugs for regulating qiincludetangerine peel,green bark,bergamot,Cyperus,wood fragrance,Fructusaurantii,aloes,roses,etc.commonly used drugs fordehumidification include patchouli,Magnolia officinalis,Atractylodes rhizome,etc.commonly used drugs for astringent collection include black plum,Schisandra chinensis,Cornus,etc.10.Professor Chen’s special drugs for syndrome differentiation and treatment of children ’s cough and asthma are: black plum,Shiwei,Houttuynia cordata,uncaria,stiffsilkworm,Sheganand centipede.Conclusion:1.Based on the statistical results of the auxiliary platform for the inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine,summarize Professor Chen taohou’s clinical experience in the treatment of children’s cough and asthma syndrome in many aspects such as syndrome differentiation and treatment and drug use law,promote the inheritance of famous doctors’ experience,and further discover and mine new prescriptions,which is ultimately conducive to the promotion of famous doctors’ experience into a higher-level evidence-based medicine basis to better guide clinical work.The results of this data mining,It is concluded that Professor Chen taohou’s experience in syndrome differentiation and treatment of children’s cough and asthma includes:（1）harmonizing Ying Wei and strengthening protective Qi;（2）Regulate qi and treat lung from liver;（3）Be good at using wind medicine and treat according to the wind.2.Professor Chen taohou is diligent,sensitive and learned from others.Through studying Classics,following famous doctors and diligent in practice for more than 50 years,he has formed systematic academic ideas and accumulated rich clinical experience.Professor Chen is good at pediatrics and is good at the diagnosis and treatment of difficult and miscellaneous diseases such as pediatric lung system.This paper systematically summarizes the principles,methods and prescriptions of Professor Chen taohou on the treatment of pediatric cough and asthma syndrome,which deepens the understanding and enriches the treatment methods of pediatric diseases.
