Shujin Huoxue Decoction Combined With Meridian Flow Injection Natzi Acupuncture Treatment Of Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis Type Clinical Observation Of Femoral Head Necrosis

Objective: In this study,by observing the clinical effect of Shujin Huoxue Decoction combined with meridian flow acupuncture method in the treatment of femoral head necrosis of Qi stagnation and blood stasis type,this study proved the superiority of external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine combined with traditional Chinese medicine,and provided a safe and effective treatment for clinical diagnosis and treatment of ONFH.Methods: A study was conducted at an orthopedic trauma clinic and ward from January to December 2022 to evaluate the efficacy and safety of meridian flow acupuncture combined with Shujinhuoxu decoction in treating femoral head necrosis caused by Qi stagnation and blood stasis.A total of 59 patients who underwent complete cycle treatment were randomly assigned to either the treatment group or the control group.The treatment group received meridian flow acupuncture once a day,five times a week during the kidney meridian filling period,as well as oral Shujinhuoxu decoction(180ml,once daily in the afternoon)for three weeks.The control group received routine acupuncture treatment and oral Shujinhuoxue decoction at any time.Before and after treatment,the patients’ pain levels(measured using the visual analog scale,or VAS)and hip function(measured using the Harris Hip Score)were evaluated and recorded for statistical analysis.The results were used to assess the effectiveness and safety of the treatment protocols and measures.Results: The study found that there were no significant differences in age,gender,and disease duration between the treatment group and the control group.The two groups were comparable in terms of pain levels(measured using the visual analog scale,or VAS)and hip function(measured using the Western Ontario and Mc Master Universities Osteoarthritis Index,or WOMAC)before treatment.After treatment,both groups showed significant improvements in VAS and WOMAC scores(P<0.05).However,the treatment group had significantly better scores than the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 96%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(75%,P<0.05).Three patients(5.1%)experienced adverse reactions during the study,but these were mild and self-resolving.One patient in the treatment group had local skin pruritus,while two patients in the control group experienced mild gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea and vomiting.No serious adverse events were reported in either group.Conclusion(s): The study demonstrated that the combination of Bushen Huoxue decoction and Huolong Pot is an effective and safe treatment for knee osteoarthritis patients with kidney deficiency and blood stasis.The treatment group showed better improvement in knee symptoms and function compared to the control group.The visual analog scale(VAS)score and Harris score before and after treatment were significantly improved in both groups,but the treatment group had better improvement than the control group.The clinical efficacy and safety of the treatment were satisfactory.The efficacy of the experimental group was better than that of the control group,so the experimental group had better clinical efficacy and safety.
