Clinical Effect Of Zhuang Medicine Meridian Tendon Therapy In The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis

Objective: This Topic by using Zhuang medicine meridian tendon Therapy to treat knee osteoarthritis,on the basis of Comparing Zhuang medicine meridian tendon Therapy and traditional acupuncture and massage in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,further verify the effect of Zhuang medicine meridian tendon Therapy on knee osteoarthritis,for the clinical treatment of knee osteoarthritis to provide an effective Zhuang medicine method.Methods: 66 patients with knee osteoarthritis who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into control group(traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive therapy group)and treatment group(Zhuang medicine meridian tendon therapy),33 cases each.The control group was treated with traditional Chinese acupuncture + massage + cupping.Acupoints were selected: A Shi acupoint(the ashi point),Liangqiu,Xuehai,Dubi,Neixiyan,Yanglingquan and Zusanli.In the treatment group,the acupoints were selected by Zhuang medicin touch knot,the tendons were loosened by Zhuang medicine meridian tendon therapy technique,the knots were removed by Zhuang medicine fire needle,and the cupping was used to detoxify the patients.The two groups were treated for 4 consecutive courses of treatment.The clinical effect was evaluated by observing the TCM symptom grading scale,WOMAC score,visual analog scale of pain(VAS),and SF-36 brief form of health before and after treatment.The data collected by the two groups of patients were sorted out and summarized,and SPSS26.0 was used for statistical analysis.Results:(1)Comparison of general data: the basic clinical data of the patients before treatment,including age,gender,BMI and course of disease,were not statistically different and were comparable.(2)Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in the traditional Chinese Medicine symptom grading scale,Western Ontario and Mc Master University Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC),visual analogue scale(VAS)and 36-item short form health survey(SF-36)between the two groups,which were Comparable.(3)The TCM symptom grading scale,WOMAC and VAS scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P< 0.05).These results indicate that both of them can be used in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.After treatment,the TCM symptom grading quantitative table,WOMAC and VAS scores of the treatment group were lower than those of the comprehensive TCM treatment group,indicating that the effect of the Zhuang medicine meridian tendon therapy was stronger than that of the Comprehensive TCM treatment group.(4)The quality of life of the two groups was Improved after treatment,and the scores of Physiological function,Physiological function and body Pain of the Zhuang medicine meridian tendon group were better than those of the traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive treatment,and the differences were statistically significant.(5)Comparison of overall efficacy: the difference of total effective rate between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05),indicating that the effect of meridian tendon therapy in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis was more significant than that of traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive therapy.Conclusion(s): Both Zhuang medicine meridian therapy and traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive therapy can treat knee osteoarthritis and improve the quality of life of patients with knee osteoarthritis.The total effective rate of the treatment group is better than that of the control group,indicating that Zhuang medicine meridian therapy is effective in treating KOA.The improvement of clinical symptoms and signs,pain relief and dysfunction after treatment were significantly better than those in the control group.
