Objective:To compare the clinical efficacy and acceptance of acupuncture and hot medicinal compress of Zhuang medicine and acupuncture of Zhuang medicine in the treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation,to find out the obvious advantages achieved by the combined treatment,so as to provide reference for the clinical treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation. Methods: Seventy-four patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation who met the diagnostic criteria clinically were collected, and the subjects were grouped according to the chronological order of consultation using SPSS 24.0 to generate random numbers by numbering them in the order of consultation for random division into 2 groups of 37 patients each. The control group was treated with acupuncture of Zhuang medicine treatment, and the treatment group was treated with acupuncture and hot medicinal compress of Zhuang medicine. The patients in both the control group and the treatment group had ablations. The data involved in the evaluation of the patients meeting the ablations criteria and discontinuance criteria in the two groups were deleted. The adverse events that occurred during the treatment were recorded after 2courses of treatment, using the visual analogue scale(VAS),Japanese Orthopaedic Association evaluation score(JOA),Improvement of Oswestry disability index(IODI),and the evaluation criteria of curative effect were sorted into data sets, the monthly statistical software SPSS 24.0 was used to analyze and compare the curative effect of patients after treatment. Results: 1.In the course of treatment, the obedience of the patients was general, and shedding occurred in both groups.7 patients in the control group, shedding rate was 16.2%,and 6 patients in the treatment group, shedding rate was 13.5%.Control group 31 cases, male 18 cases, female 13 cases: treatment group 32 cases, male 15 cases, female 17 cases: finally completed this clinical study of experimental patients a total of 63 cases.2.The efficiency of the treatment group was 87.5%;the efficiency of the other group was 67.74%.3.The reduction in VAS score scores suggested optimistic results: the VAS scores of the two groups were comparable before treatment(P=0.121>0.05);after treatment, the VAS scores of both groups were statistically significant when compared within the two groups, and both were efficacious for the patients;the scores of the treatment and control groups were compared after treatment, and there was a significant reduction(P=0.004<0.01).4.The increase of JOA score suggested obvious improvement: before treatment, the JOA low back pain score of the control group and the treatment group was comparable(P=0.634>0.05);Before and after treatment,intra-group comparison between the treatment group and the control group showed that the JOA low back pain score of the two groups before and after treatment was improved, indicating that both of them are effective in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation. After treatment, the JOA low back pain scores of the treatment group and the control group were compared(P=0.015<0.05),the difference was statistically significant, and the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.5.The IODI score scores after treatment showed a decrease compared to the pre-treatment scores indicating that the treatment was effective: the IODI scores of the control and treatment groups before treatment(P=0.776 > 0.05)were comparable;after treatment, the treatment and control groups were compared within the group, and the post-treatment scores of both groups suggested that the treatment was effective;the scores of these groups were compared after treatment and both had significant reduction. The post-treatment scores of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P=0.003<0.01).6.IODI evaluation table contains 10 items, including lower limb numbness, low back pain, lying on the bed and turning over, sitting and standing, sitting, walking, standing, working, sleeping and housework. The IODI scores before and after treatment are better than those before and after treatment.During daily labor and work, the symptoms improved significantly(P=0.028<0.05).The sleep improvement in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P=0.001<0.01).7.Safety assessment: During treatment,a small amount of acupoint bleeding occurred in both groups after treatment, among which 1 patient in the treatment group had a small amount of blister, and no serious adverse events occurred after treatment. Conclusion: Acupuncture and hot medicinal compress of Zhuang medicine and Acupuncture of Zhuang medicine can improve the clinical symptoms of patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation. The IODI score and VAS score can be decreased after treatment, and the JOA score can be increased.Sitting, laboring, working and sleeping in the IODI group can improve significantly after treatment.
