| Objective: By observing the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture at Jiaji points with different waveforms in treating generalized anxiety disorder,a more optimized plan and reference basis for electroacupuncture treatment of this disease will be provided. Methods: Sixty patients with generalized anxiety disorder were randomly divided into treatment group(n=30)and control group(n=30).The treatment group was treated with electroacupuncture with dilatational wave and frequency 2/15 Hz,bilateral T4~L4 Jiaji acupoint was selected, the upper point of electroacupuncture was connected with T4,and the lower point was connected with ipsilateral L4.A total of 2 groups of electroacupuncture on the left and right sides. The electroacupuncture in the control group was treated with continuous wave, frequency 2~15Hz.The acupoint selection was the same as that of the treatment group. The two groups were treated for 30 minutes each time, with 5 consecutive days of treatment per week and then 2days of rest,2 weeks as a course of treatment, and a total of 4 weeks of treatment. The scores of Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA),Self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),Generalized anxiety disorder scale(GAD)and Pittsburgh sleep finger scale(PSQI)were observed and recorded before treatment,2 weeks,4weeks and 1 month after treatment. The curative effect was evaluated according to the score change of TCM Syndrome Scale before and after treatment.Results:1.There was no significant difference in age, sex, course of disease and the score of each scale before treatment between the two groups(P>0.05),and the baseline data were comparable.2.Comparison of HAMA,SAS,and GAD-7 scores: Within the group: After treatment, the HAMA,SAS,and GAD-7 scores of the two groups were all lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).Between groups: The treatment group was better than the control group in the reduction of HAMA,SAS,and GAD-7 scores at 2weeks,4 weeks, and 1 month after the completion of the treatment(P<0.05).3.Comparison of PSQI scores: Within the group: PSQI scores in both groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).Between groups: At 2 weeks of treatment, the curative effect of the treatment group was similar to that of the control group(P>0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment and 1 month after the completion of treatment, the control group was better than the treatment group in improving the sleep quality of patients.4.Comparison of TCM syndrome scores: After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).5.Safety analysis: During the treatment period, there was 1 case of acupuncture pain and subcutaneous hematoma in the treatment group, and 2 cases of needle stagnation in the control group. No other adverse reactions were observed. No serious adverse events occurred after symptomatic treatment.Conclusion:1.Both dilatational wave and continuous wave electroacupuncture at Jiaji point can relieve the anxiety mood and symptoms of patients with generalized anxiety disorder, improve the sleep quality of patients, and reduce the clinical syndrome of traditional Chinese medicine. And there are no obvious side effects, with high safety.2.The overall curative effect of sparse and dilatational wave electroacupuncture at Jiaji acupoint in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder is better than that of continuous wave electroacupuncture, and the onset time is fast and the long-term effect is good.3.The curative effect of continuous wave electroacupuncture at Jiaji point is better than that of dilatational wave electroacupuncture in improving anxiety insomnia. |
