Rapid changes in information technology have driven digital transformation in various industries such as travel,consumer,entertainment,and healthcare.Under the joint promotion of the digital transformation wave and covid-19 development,mobile health has become one of the fastest-growing industries.As the ageing of China’s population continues to accelerate,there is more room for mobile healthcare to grow in the senior market,and primary elderly users will become the new force in the use of mobile healthcare APP.Although mobile health APP provides certain convenient services,there are still problems such as difficulty in understanding and inconvenience in the process of using it,which will bring negative emotions to primary elderly users and even give up using it,deepening the "digital gap".The difficulty of using the mobile health APP for primary elderly users is related to the decline of physical function on the one hand and also reflects that the current design and development of mobile health APP does not give enough attention to primary elderly users.This dissertation constructs a framework for analyzing user experience based on contextual cognition.And on this basis,through literature and policy analysis,explores 6 characteristic factors affecting user experience:functional features,interaction features,interface visual features,self-capability,positive emotional experience and system environment support in 3 contexts:user context,task context and environmental context,and studies the influence of the above 6 characteristic factors on perceived usefulness,perceived ease of use and intention to use respectively,and constructs a primary elderly user behavioural intention model of mobile health APP,and builds an age-friendly product design-UX Model,AUX.Secondly,a primary elderly user experience hierarchy model of mobile health APP was developed based on the AUX model,which consisted of 6 primary evaluation indicators and 20 secondary evaluation indicators,namely functional features,interaction features,interface visual features,self-capability,positive emotional experience and system environment support.Then,the combined weights of each level of evaluation indicators are determined through a comprehensive evaluation method combining subjective and objective assignments,so as to obtain a comprehensive evaluation model and comprehensive calculation method for the primary elderly users’ experience of the mobile health APP.At the same time,11 design principles for mobile health APPs for primary elderly users were proposed on this basis.Finally,the proposed design principles were followed in the design practice of the mobile health APP,and the validation showed that the new design scheme had some improvement in the quality of the primary elderly users’ experience.This dissertation proposes a comprehensive evaluation method of primary elderly users’experience based on the AUX model and design principles for mobile health APP,which provides design direction and design strategy for mobile health APP design developers,so as to improve the user experience of primary elderly users using mobile health APP and reduce the "digital gap".
