Clinical Observation Of Yiqi Tongluo Yin Combined With Tripterygium Wilfordii Polyglycoside Tablets In The Treatment Of Diabetic Kidney Disease Stage G3a

Objective:This study aims to investigate the clinical effectiveness of Yiqi Tongluo Drink combined with Leigongtang Polyside Tablets on G3 a stage Qi deficiency and blood stasis diabetic kidney disease,which provides a new idea and theoretical basis for effective intervention in diabetic kidney disease.Methods:In this study,outpatients and wards of the Department of Nephrology,Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were screened for those who met the confirmed diagnosis of diabetic kidney disease with stage G3 a Qi deficiency and blood stasis.After a two-week washout period,they were divided into a test group and a control group according to the principle of random numbers.Patients in both groups were treated with Western medicine,while the control group was treated with Leigongteng polysaccharide tablets on top of the basic Western medicine treatment,and the test group was given Yiqi Tongluo drink combined with Leigongteng polysaccharide tablets on top of the basic Western medicine treatment for 12 weeks of observation.The 24-h urinary protein quantification(24h UTP),urinary albumin creatinine ratio(UACR),blood creatinine(serum creatinine),and urea nitrogen(BUN)were recorded before and after treatment,Scr,Blood serum urea nitrogen(BUN),Fasting blood glucose(FBG),Glycated hemoglobin(Hb Alc),Total cholesterol(TC),Triglyceride(TG),TCM syndrome score and safety indexes,the collected data were statistically analyzed to comprehensively evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Yiqi Tongluo Drink combined with Leigongteng Polyside Tablets in the treatment of diabetic kidney disease at stage G3 a.1.Comparison of urine protein between the two groups: following therapy,both groups’ UACR and 24 h UTP dropped considerably(P<0.01).The post-treatment drop in the experimental group was much larger than that of the control group,and the difference was judged to be statistically significant(P<0.01).2.Comparison of renal function between the two groups: after treatment,Scr and BUN both fell in both groups(P<0.01),and when Scr was compared between the groups,the test group was better than the control group(P<0.05),but the difference between the BUN groups did not reach statistical significance(P>0.05).3.Comparison of blood glucose between the two groups: after treatment,FBG and Hb Alc were considerably lowered in both groups(P<0.01),and the efficacy of the test group was significantly improved compared with the control group after treatment(P<0.05).4.Comparison of blood lipids between the two groups: after treatment,TC and TG were considerably reduced in both groups after treatment(P<0.01),and when group comparison was done after treatment,there was a significant increase in the efficiency of the test group compared to the control group(P<0.05).5.Comparison of TCM symptom scores: Following treatment in both groups,the test group considerably improved the patients’ clinical symptoms with significantly lower scores than the control group(P<0.01),and the impact was better than that of the control group(P<0.01).6.Comparison of clinical efficacy: TCM syndrome efficacy: following treatment,while the treatment group’s effective rate was89.19% compared to the control group 65.79%(P<0.05).The overall curative effect in the experimental group was 89.19% against 73.68% in the control group,with the experimental group outperforming the control group(P<0.05).7.Safety comparison:here were no significant differences in ECG,routine stool and liver function between 2 groups(P>0.05).Over the course of the clinical observation,one case of significant stomach pain occurred in the experimental group and was managed without additional intervention.In the control group,two cases of hypoglycemia were treated with sugar and rest,and blood sugar levels returned to normal.There was no evident difference in adverse effects between the two groups(P>0.05).It implies that combining tripterygium wilfordii polyglycoside tablets with Yiqi Tongluo decoction is safe.Conclusion: Combining Yiqi Tongluo decoction with Tripterygium wilfordii polyglycosides tablets can relieve clinical symptoms of DKD G3 a patients with qi deficiency and blood stasis type,lower urinary protein,improve renal function,lower blood glucose,control blood lipids,slow disease progression,and be extremely safe.
