| Objective:Through the comparative study of acupotomy combined with acupuncture therapy and acupuncture therapy alone in the treatment of elderly knee osteoarthritis with liver and kidney deficiency, the effectiveness and safety of acupotomy combined with acupuncture therapy in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with liver and kidney deficiency was evaluated, providing clinical basis for the treatment of elderly knee osteoarthritis with needle-knife combined with acupuncture therapy. Methods:A total of 70 eligible elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis of liver and kidney deficiency were randomly divided into observation group(needle-knife treatment combined with acupuncture treatment)and control group(acupuncture treatment alone),with 35 cases in each group, for continuous treatment for 3 weeks. The main evaluation indexes were WOMAC scale and visual analog scale(VAS).The improvement of clinical symptoms in the two groups was observed and analyzed, and the adverse reactions of patients were recorded and evaluated.Results:1.Before treatment, gender, age, disease course, lesion site,WOMAC scale and visual analog scale(VAS)scores of the observation group and control group were not statistically significant, indicating that clinical data of the two groups were comparable.2.After treatment, from the comparison of comprehensive efficacy, the total effective rate of the observation group(94.29%)was higher than that of the control group(80.00%),P=0.008,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that both the observation group and the control group had better efficacy in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis, but the effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group. The comparison of the knee joint(WOMAC)scale and visual analog scale(VAS)before and after treatment between the observation group and the control group showed that the scores of the two groups were decreased and there were differences(P<0.05),suggesting that the two groups were effective in improving the score of the knee joint(WOMAC)scale and visual analog scale(VAS).At the same time, the difference between the observation group and the control group before and after treatment showed that the observation group was better than the control group in terms of knee joint improvement(WOMAC)scale and visual analog scale(VAS),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture and knife combined with acupuncture therapy in the treatment of elderly patients with liver and kidney deficiency knee osteoarthritis has significant effect, can significantly relieve the knee pain, stiffness symptoms, improve physical dysfunction.Simple operation, high safety, low price, has certain application value, worthy of clinical promotion. |
